On my friends PS3 it was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. On my PS3 it was Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

Resistance: Fall of Man and Sonic The Hedgehog.....neither were games that I would've bought for myself but my first PS3 was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend at the time and I'm guessing Resistance came with the console and he probably bought me Sonic because I love the Sega games and had (still have) the Sonic Collection for my PS2.....sadly, I don't think Sonic should've made it past the Mega Drive.

I traded both games in pretty much straight away.....without trophies to confirm, I'm not 100% sure but I'm fairly certain I got The Simpsons Game in their place.

Demon's Souls. I'm sure I'm like a lot of people that switched from Xbox at the end of the last generation and bought a ps3 just for this game and a few other exclusives. Dark Souls is still my favorite, however. The first is always special lol.

The first two games I played on PS3 were Guitar Hero: World Tour and Haze.

Bioshock was my first game with trophies.

Uncharted 3 came with the system (or maybe it was 2? Don't remember)

I immediately gave it away without even taking it out of the shrink-wrap. First game I played was Mass Effect 2. First Platinum as well.

I believe it was either Grand Theft Auto IV or Modern Warfare 2 in late 2009/early 2010. I got them at the same time so I don't remember which I played first.

Far Cry 3. I got my PS3 late because I was still having a lot of fun with the PS2. I remember thinking how beautiful the graphics were, I was blown away. :P

I got a bundle back in 2006 which had the 60Gb PS3, Resistance: Fall of Man and Sonic The Hedgehog. I never played those games that much because I was a kid back then and got scared with the Resistance monsters (:D), and the Sonic game was in english and couldn't understand a thing, I think I only reached part 3 of the story or something... I got Motorstorm later on to keep me entertained!

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune! And I was so anxious to play it that I skipped the patch that added the trophies, resulting in my first trophy being Intermediate Fortune Hunter -  "Find 20 treasures"
