Game Breaking Glitch

I'm sure people don't need to be told this, but if you're stupid like me and/or have my gaming luck you may want to know:

I was in the last temple and had used Lady Rainicorn's Ring so Finn and Jake were separated.  I put the game down for a few hours and when I had returned I wound up turning my system off and not saving the game (thinking that everything would be fine because, you know, the game wasn't saved).  When I started playing again days later Finn was at the beginning of the temple (like usual), but he would not leave the first room.  Trying to leave would result him into backing up.  I couldn't use the Grabby Hand and when I tried to use Lady Rainicorn's Ring the game froze and I got a corruption error (and no this - thank god - is not because of my memory card).  Now I have to restart the game✌️
