There are unique lines for taking down 2, 3, 4, 5 enemies. And 4, 3, 2, 1 enemies left. FOR EVERY character. Do you have any idea how many lines that is? Multiply it by 9. And then tell me you haven't heard 250 unique lines... Did you multiply it? Not even close to 250.

My trophy popped on full baton pass line which happened for the first time (baton pass trophy popping at the same time is a proof). So... it's definitely 250 unique lines, but you don't really need to actively grind it =D Lol, mine popped after being saved for the first time by Futaba's Final Guard ? xZoneHunter
I got this trophy without much trouble. I played on easy for the most part, so i was always over leveled. I swapped it to hard in the 6th dungeon to get more status ailments and party deaths and it popped at the end of the 7th dungeon. Just swap a lot and use the special character you only get at the 6th dungeon.

IMO, the fighting video game will make or break your platinum. It's not that hard, really. Fighting games aren't problem for me but it's clear to me why are ppl freaking about it. The last combo seems impossible but the trick is to do a 180° rotation like with an analog stick from right to down to left without raising your finger, and then just push right and . With that strategy, it immediately registers the inputs. On the other hand, this trophy was really stressing me out. It seems so random and pops up in different situations for everyone, even though they are doing the same things. Ghoststorm71
Honestly the Rise one wasn't that hard either. People trick you into doing a bunch of extra shit, but its easy just to go for that trophy in heaven as you encounter a wider variety of enemies there that inflict every status ailment. Fuck around there for 4 hours with every party member and you are good to go. 48 minutes ago, xZoneHunter said: Not sure, i never got wiped. (without reloading your previous safe file) Also no this counts towards it I believe unless you re-load the save file instead of just continuing normally from the last safe room. I died a shit load of times and still got it by Shido's dungeon. It really is an easy as hell trophy tbh.

The trophy I had trouble with was the hostage negotiation one, I got it purely through luck. I have the platinum now, and that hostage situation only ever happened to me once. Like most people, I was actually worried about the Futaba lines trophy, but it popped way earlier than I had anticipated. FlareZero
They only count the lines in the Battle or even the ones on the field? Edited April 21, 2017 by FlareZero

Those can easily be cheesed after you read the book for using cheat codes in games, in the worst case scenario you can just reload.

Rhevarr
To conclude: It's not hard, lined outside if battle do count and you do not have to hear every line. If you did not got it till the end, you did not tried triggering as much as possible lines. Edited April 22, 2017 by Rhevarr
HElSENBERG79
Got yesterday before stealing treasure in casino palace, my bet: It's not cumulative(you need 250 different lines) , line outside battle count toward the trophy, i have grinded all the ailments line except confuse one. If the trophy won't pop up yet, during the Shido palace Futaba have new exlusive line. oh, i have got new lines during the last dungeon on mementos. Hope it help. Tosmasta00
According to this page that's how you unlock the Futaba trophy: Passionate Listener - Hear 250 of Futaba's navigation lines. Once she's joined your team, head to Mementos and just keep moving up and down between floors. Here the link to the page http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-04-18-persona-5-trophy-list-4686
hamzamon
If it isnt cumulative lines and is in fact unique line then i pretty sure its counting non battle lines as well which would make sense another possibility is that the 250 in the game description is wrong and the trophy pops earlier than that i mean it isnt the first time a trophy description has been outright wrong

I mean, why wouldn't they. The trophy says navigation lines =) Because of wrong translation, she's no longer properly called Navi, but the point is she is a navigator whenever she gets her pichipichi costume. Therefore, any line that she says while in her Navi form counts. When she maps the floor, it counts, when she replenishes treasures it counts, when she talks with Sugita it counts, any other Mementos discussions count. The trophy does not say in-battle lines =D
