Alantor32
From what I saw on gaming news sites, this game doesn't have a world map you use to travel to locations (Or does it?) making this the first open world Atelier game?
Satoshi Ookami
Yea, unfortunately it's open world. It doesn't fit Atelier at all.
Edunstar84
How does it play out though? Sounds a bit weird. If they needed to chuck something, it should have been the stupid alchemy system....... *runs away*
Myu
Open-world Atelier feels so weird... And I agree with you @Edunstar84, that alchemy system needs to go. Even after platting Atelier Sophie, I still don't really understand how it works.

I'm okay with an open world Atelier game. I may get this game depending on how I feel.

Do you mean the system from Sophie or the whole alchemy? Because... if it's the latter... U WOT?!

I mean, you know how I feel about the alchemy system in Ayesha Plus.

Yeah, there's a reason why the Alchemy gameplay was in the Atelier series, it's fun and allows you to make stronger weapons and armor and help fulfill side quests and other adventures. The alchemy system from every Atelier up to Atelier Shallie is fine, but since Atelier Sophie, I think it's a complete mess and it's not as fun as it used to be.
