(my guess july 2017) "DLC and new costumes were announced on the Nier: Automata One Million Shipments livestream today. The Colosseum is a combat arena that lets you take on challenges to win new costumes and hair colours. According to Gematsu it will be released in Japan on May 2 for 1500 Yen. Though I would presume there will be. And probably not going to be able to buy any dlc trophies with in-game currency. Which is a damn good thing. I agree, but also disagree on it feeling completely wrong. I'll say a lot of games have done this in other ways. For instance I know with grade that you accumulated in Tales of Xillia and/or Symphonia you can buy all skits in the beginning of NG+ for that trophy. And trust me hunting down every skit is a PITA. Both games require 2-4 playthroughs for other trophies. In that light it seems different. But hey Nier Automata is awesome! And I would have done everything even if there were no trophies! You can unlock them with grade, but you can't get the trophy. Automata is definitely on my list. Persona 5 comes before all, though. Also, I'm happy to see that Taro ain't gon' insert the alternative Nier's (Father) outfit on someone, it looks garbage as fvck.
