I played Lara Croft GO on the Vita... and found out the trophy list was shared so I wasted my time and money on a game I didn't need to play. (And yes, the loading times are atrocious so that was even worse.) I could have gotten some work on Adventure Time: Secret of the Nameless Kingdom but I was a fool. Anyways, I'll get back to work after mass this morning. (It's 1 AM right now, I need to get some sleep.) EDIT: Also, I am definitely not completing this challenge - I have since decided to drop The Unfinished Swan from my life, and yes, it's because of Minimalist. I can follow the guide up until the walkway in the garden but then I screw up and hit the paintball button too many times. I have ADHD and get really pissed when things go south and I start throwing. (I got the latter term from this Maplestory video.) Is the trophy doable? Yes. Am I going to be enough of an a$$hole to earn it? Nope! Especially not after dealing with Gone Home's Homerunner! Needless to say, I will complete the remaining games during the summer challenge even though I already admitted defeat. Luckily, it's not on my account since I didn't earn any other trophies on it, so I deleted it from my library. Games on my list have all been on my backlog for a reason other time. I tried to make progress on Heavy Fire Afghanistan today. The controls are still not at all intuitive to me. Right stick enters cover, not camera like most games. Which means all buttons accessible by thumb [X, circle, diamond, square] are not accessible while in cover! Meanwhile I keep pounding the D pad, which does nothing. Neither L2 or L1 is a scope zoom. There is no zoom. And worse, L2 throws grenades, but no indication of where. Apparently one time I tossed a grenade into my squad, which I did not even realize I had, since my score was subtracted with a friendly fire message. Like the grenade toss, there is no indication of where the squad is on the screen. The game emphasizes the use of cover. But then throws you into areas where there is no cover, such as a machine gun, or on a turret mounted above a humvee. Yet your enemy in a similar situation is heavily protected. Occasionally, the screen shows a picture of a controller and an arrow. I have yet to figure out what to do then. But doing nothing seems to work best. The game awards you for poor marksmanship. The only way to collect ammo or health is to shoot it. Several trophies are tied to the number of bullets shot. Or for breaking stuff by shooting it. I can't tell what counts as a breakable collectable. I believe there is even a trophy for making under 5% of your shoots in a mission. The only positive here is that you don't have to purchase ammo. I am not ready to admit defeat. But I will have to pause a bit. I ran out of cash to put in the swear jar! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyways, I made a decision - I plan on getting my 29th platinum today but not on this list, so I am going to try to complete Gone Home to get at least one game on this list completed and so I can get started with Dragon Quest Builders as my 30th plat. Then over the week I'll get down to business with 100% ABZU and the other games on this list. I might earn a trophy in Deadly Tower of Monsters today, just to get it on the account. It took a while to get through the game a few more times but after the Homerunner trophy, every else was cake. I plan on spending tomorrow getting 100% in ABZU from 0% since it looks really difficult to find save points. I'll also work on Deadly Tower of Monsters to get a trophy from it. I made it all the way to Pandora's Temple from where I was at today, which is pretty good progress (for me). I'll probably finish the game by Tuesday...? I have no idea when I will since the chickens sometimes decide to rebel and it takes a lot of time to get them back in check. Either way, progress is being made. Also, if anyone wants to boost anything in this list or anything in their list, I'm down. So my nightmare continues with Heavy Fire. I have managed to make it thru level 5 Rookie run. Almost half way through this play through. 3% -> 20%. I started this game in Aug 2012. Right now I feel I will be lucky to finish it by Aug 2017! Lumpy you have in my opinion a very challenging list. I can try to help with far cry and wolfenstein. A lot of stuff is in versus mode, which will require a lot of grinding later. I also played Gravity Rush 2 for a few missions, but got no additional trophies in there yet. Moved to chapter 3 in Neptunia U, finishing all quests up to this point for 52% quests completed. I'll need 100% eventually so it's good to get everything out of the way as soon as possible. I believe @colinmazzini asked me about Croixleur Sigma - it's an interesting hybrid of a hack and slash and an action RPG. There's a choice between four characters (I've only unlocked three though) and many weapons for each that have special moves and level up as you use them. Also, there's plenty of modes in the game - story, survival, score attack, challenge, and I haven't unlocked all of them yet. Plus you can dress up the characters with a bunch of ridiculous attachments that provide various stat boosts or other powerups. In this, I managed to clear the initial character's story mode in under 10 minutes to unlock an additional battle at the end, which rolled the credits and unlocked the third character. So it's a beaten game, but given the trophy count there's still a lot to do. I also cleared all of the challenges that I have unlocked (10) but no additional trophies there - meaning there's at least more than 21 total.
