I mentioned Catan, because the PS3 version was listed on the official GameSparks site but after seeing that Tweet, I'm guessing it was an error on the publisher's part ?. EDIT: I've just looked at the official site again and all references to the PS3 and Switch versions have been scrubbed.

Online portion of the game is a player hosted environment. Your online character will be saved on host's save file. Not sure about matchmaking I'll doubt the game even have one.

I think the game "squishies" might be in danger too with the gamespark shutdown tommorow. Saw people that work at massive miniteam and brainseed talking on the gamesparks forum about troubleshooting and helping prior to that games release.

 

I didnt saw gamesparks or any other backend servers in its credits. So I dont have concrete proof this game is running on gamesparks, but on the other side I cant find which other server it would run on.

 

I find it likely It would run on it, especially since this game uses similar functions as animal super squad.

 

Since this game isnt what I would call a big hit, I think they wont convert to another backend server.

 

The rest of the massive miniteam and brainseed games either runs (confirmed) on other servers or doesnt have online trophies.

 

I havent message the devs to confirm it, this is pure speculation.

I just got all online trophies in squishies in less than 10 minutes. You can go to the community right after the tutorial. I can also confirm that you can create and play custom levels offline, they can make certain trophies easier

Codemasters are useless can't even give any updates if their own game is shutting down, so judging by the silence I can't see Onrush surviving past 30th September sadly  but I hope I'm wrong, just going to play some tonight for the potentially the last time ?.

Stadia was doomed from the beginning so it was only a matter of time before Google took it round the back of the shed and put it out of its misery.

Yes, also their flawed and slow expansions of the service for more countries helped killing it. Anyway, it is a pretty quick shutdown, only 3 months-ish to completely kill a platform, they are definitely cutting costs wherever is possible. Sony might get back to the PS Store shutdown idea, at minimum.

I'm happy for the people who play that game but if this game gets saved then why can't Onrush? I know I keep going on about Onrush but it's a great game that deserves to be saved.

That sentence made me shudder and get hit by FOMO really hard. Now i feel like i should play all my unplayed ps3 games asap and need to play 24/7 to even remotely feel close to being done.

Only to do it again on ps4 in a few years...why do we do this again? ?

It all depends on the developer/publisher.  It costs money and time to re-do the servers.  If the people in charge are lazy, defunct, or straight up don't care, then it won't matter.

 

Please stop posting non-updates to here. Every time you do, it pings 550+ people following this thread for the next shutdown notice.  You're essentially giving us all false alarms

Around two days before the affected Ubisoft games go offline. It's best to hop on to them and grab what you need to earn before it's too late. 

 

Far Cry 3 though will be needed to be done in coop when servers close.

The ps3/vita store shutdown caused a lot of people to panic buy games(myself included). I cant see anybody panic buying stadia games as theyll be useless in a few months and as far as im aware stadia had only 1 real exclusive(gylt) that hopefully gets ported in the near future.

But for PS4 ... "Only to do it again on ps4 in a few years" => No need to wait years, you will be late for many games, it's already happening now !  

Look this crazy month, all those ps4 games closing servers... hard to follow all of them ^^'
