Anyone know the best way to farm Honor?

I'm struggling with getting honor, I know you get it from different activities but just trying figure out the best way to get more. I get around 3k or so of honor a map but there has to be a better way especially since you need to get a 1000 Vikings to Valhalla LOL

I suggest the Desert with a fairly large map (to give yourself some time to develop). Once you get to a point where you can have a 9 person army with weapons and staves. Also have a brewery to boost their health.

 

Then take them to the enemies, but don't overwhelm your team. Go back and forth from killing some mummies to letting them eat and drink. 

These maps constantly spawn more enemies, and if you don't destroy the spawn point then you can farm there. I didn't farm, yet one time I got 9820 Honor from one Desert map. 

 

Much more then 1800-2200 from other maps. Also, turn off "Dome Dwarfs". They are just an extra hassle.

 

EDIT: I got over 20'000 Honor from leaving it in the Desert without destroying the Mummy spawn point.
