Recommendations:

Basically Recommendations is a section where if you don't see a game on my list in either the platinums or the backlog then you could say it to me and I could add it to the recommendations section. That way I can get round to looking to it, I will always keep the recommendations and if I think I will like the game I will add an emoticon next to it. Smiley face or sad face. Once I've brought it I can add it to my backlog and then cross it out once it's done. If I don't like a game I can add it a sub section "No thanks". I'm not going to call you out or anything like that. All the shows is the recommendation is there and it's not my kind of game.

I'm just trying to have a decent checklist, trying to make it active. I doubt it will get much traffic but still the sections will be there and like mention in the first post will be updated whenever something new happens.

#10,000 trophy

35L71895a.png

Gwent Master -- Defeat Tybalt and win the gwent tournament held at the Passiflora.

So I finally hit 10,000 trophies after spending nearly 4 years on the account. It's been a long journey and have completed many games in my time. I wanted the trophy to be something memorable and since I was a big Witcher fan I decided to play the game for the occasion (It will be my 200th platinum also, save that post for when it's over) This and Card collector trophy popped after completing the tournament. I was a tiny bit gutted that didn't pop first as I thought getting all the cards was more of an achievement than winning the tournament but it's a trophy based on the same game I'm pretty sure everyone has come to love GWENT. Simple yet so good and addictive.

I'll make the #200 post when I've finally finished the game but it's soo much fun so far. Thanks for seeing.

:platinum: Platinum #200 - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt :platinum:

1L109344.png

| Enjoyment: 10/10 | Difficulty: 6/10 | 24/4/15 | Recommendable |

Well I've finally hit 200 platinums. Been a hell of ride so far. Haven't posted in here in a while due to being super busy but now I can finally sit down and write something. I did the same thing I did with Platinum 100 for 200 also, chose a game I really really liked. I know a lot of people go for super hard platinums on these kind of milestones but I didn't need the headache so it's best to keep to what you like.

The game is just amazing in my opinion. I loved every second of it. I think I completed everything.. Well I couldn't find any quests by the time I was done anyway. Game is a little tricky to begin with when you're on Death March but once you've got the basics of potions, oils and signs it gets pretty simple. You would of heard in a few places that on death march the first ten levels are the hardest and people aren't wrong. Once I hit level 10 I already seemed a little over powered for some things. Having a hybrid of strong attacks mixed with potions perks made it worth while. The game pretty much had the lot. Epic fights, great setting, variety, great soundtrack, customisation for you and your horse, a whole array of weapons and qualities to help improve them and potions and what not. Most important aspect is the best card game inside a game since Final Fantasy VIII's. Maps were decent in size and not many missions got boring. I finished the game and all the DLC in 126 hours.

DLC had to be some of the best I've come across. Heart of stone kept you in velen/novigrad with a great story offering new ways to upgrade and new weapons and equipment which was a great boost to the already OP equipment I had. Blood and Wine was by far my favourite of the two and possibly one of my favourite DLCS ever. A whole new mission involving an old vampire friend and even better... A WHOLE NEW MAP. Which was so different to the base game was unreal. This place wasn't plagued by war of ridiculous amount of monsters it was just colourful and full of cool new monsters and missions. That's probably the only issue I have with the game was that the DLC map was not in the original game for those who have not played it. Everyone should of had the chance to play it but none the less the game was awesome. I could write a lot more but would be here all day so I'll leave it at that. As always, if you want more information. Drop me a PM.

:platinum: Platinum #201 - Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered :platinum:

1L393cc8.png

| Enjoyment: 10/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | 11/6/17 | Recommendable |

If you're a PlayStation gamer from around the start you would of played this gem back on PS3. Games a classic. There genuinely isn't that many things I could pick out about this game that are bad. This time around it's on PS4 for all the new people and for all the people who wanted these classics on the current gen console. With some added DLC and a new difficulty. The pacing of this game is really well done. Starts off simple enough smooth, mission by mission the threat becomes more and more ruthless. There are chase scenes (FU Brutal chase scenes), classic gun fights, scaling, stealth, new characters etc from the original. Honorable mentions: Chapter 13&14 on the train. The bad guy is no doubt the best out of all the Uncharted games that I've played. He's ruthless & is only in it for him. (Hired the wrong guy though, let me tell ya.. all of this could of been avoided)

Chloe and Elenas... (AMIRITE?) The only thing I didn't like about this game honestly was there was veeeeery little of Sully.

DLC is simple enough activate a tweak etc etc. Speed run withing a certain time limit and with a costume on and Brutal difficulty. Which I will fully admit I used the glitch where you could active the tweaks. One shot kill and Infinte ammo are the absolute best.

Final trophy wasn't at all badass but you know, it's better than nothing.

:platinum: Platinum #202 - Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Remastered :platinum:

1L1c3365.png

| Enjoyment: 9/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | 14/6/17 | Recommendable |

Admittedly, this game isn't as good as the previous installment. It was still ridiculously good as I remember. I remember playing this game back in 2011 and it was the best looking game on the market. Comparing it to what we have today is mind-blowing at how far we have come in nearly 6 years. Obviously this game still looks really good it's just mental when you compare it to Uncharted 4 and other games. Bad guy literally shouldn't of even been the bad guy. You see her in a handful of scenes and she basically does nothing. Talbot on the other hand (the guy below her) should of just been the boss no need to include Marlowe at all in my opinion. Not even as part of the background story. Talbot was the man to get his hands dirty and Talbot was the very last person we face off in the game. Honorable mentions: Chapter 7 running away from the fire. The destruction and gun fights and everything happening in them scenes is fantastic up until the very end of the chapter it was pumping trying to escape with Sully. Chapter 11s chase with Talbot, I still consider that chase one of the best in MY gaming history. I love it. Finally chapter 20s Caravan, killing men on horse back whilst they are in cars. EPIC.

Few things that disappointed me were barely any Chloe. After the scene with her and Cutter they were both dropped from the game. Annoying really since we haven't seen them since even in U4. Obviously Chloe is getting her own game but Cutter isn't. Hope he makes an appearance. The desert scene, it was so slow paced. Then as soon as it picks back up and you find where you have to go. Drake hits sayiyan mode and kills everyone yet being 3 days dehydrated.

bss8Xrq.jpg

Tried something epic with this one. I did it but the trophy before hand popped so obviously wasn't going to look the best. Wanted to be a djinn whilst jumping off that rock whilst shooting an RPG. I did it but that's what we got. Looks good enough though.

:platinum: Platinum #203 - Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor: GOTY :platinum:

1L9a244d.png

| Enjoyment: 8/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | 17/6/17 | Recommendable |

My third Middle-earth platinum.. I'm sure people will be asking why? why not? you like a game this much you go for it but honestly, I literally have 3 different reasons why to play it 3 times. First time I played it, it just came out.. it was buggy, PS4 was practically new and I love The Lord of the Rings universe so played it regardless. Loved it then. Then the second reason was I played it on PS3 that I rented from a friend, I heard it was a very bad port and I was curious.. ohhh it was a very bad port indeed. I can't remember the amount of times it crashed and how long it loaded an area. So that was reason to, curiosity. Reason 3 is Shadow of War was announced. I wanted a re-cap, I've never played the DLC which is average at best. Good backstory and who can forget it now runs on 4k. It looks rather decent considering it wasn't built for it so it was good.

Won't make a huge explanation because I think I done it when I platinumed it the first time. I will talk about the DLCS however. I'm glad they come part of the GOTY edition because there is no way I'd buy them seperately. They're not awful they actually shown some really good things. Just short isn't it. Every DLC seems to be short and it's annoying. Lord of the Hunt was decent specifically for Torvin. He's the only character in the whole game + DLC that has even a bit of humour. Obvious reasons why Talion and Celebrimbor don't but every other NPC is serious also (Nature of the game, I know) All I can say is  A LOT MORE TORVIN IN SHADOW OF WAR PLZZ. Oh, Test of the wild I got really, really lucky.. I loved the challenge and finished it off on the final second, trust me it was nerve racking.

Bright lord wasn't too bad. Apart from the Sauron fight.. He's the big bad guy and he's too easy and only got stronger because of Celebrimbors skinny fingers (If you know what I mean) It was good to play as regular celebrimbor though, he seems a bit weak when you first get used to him but he's alright in the end.

k92qLmt.jpg

Nothing to this one, Freed 30 slaves in 3 minutes on a Caragor to get the platinum. Nice little munch for the final image, goood girl.

:platinum: Platinum #204 - Assassin's Creed II (PS4) :platinum:

1Lfe07c1.png

| Enjoyment: 10/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | 19/6/17 | Recommendable |

I'm sure a majority of people would of played the "original" back on the PS3. Not much is different this time around apart from better graphics, everything is a lot more colourful and the sequence 12 & 13 DLC packs are integrated into the main game. Honestly, I love this game a lot and have lost count of how many times I've platinumed it on the PS3 on all the other accounts I used to have. The last time I played this game was in 2014 and you can imagine how far games have progressed since then. I can honestly say I did not miss the parkour/free-running in this game. It just feels so slow and broken sometimes, like a ledge right above you, Ezio wouldn't catch it and it became a little bit tedious.

Remember when everyone hated collecting feathers? I'm sure a lot of people still do but compare that to collectibles in games now it's nothing and didn't feel like a chore. Then again, I took a different approach then I guess a lot of people do. They would of left it right until the end getting a map and then it becoming a drag to them but I took it section by section after every chapter. Doing it that way, you collect 9 feathers a chapter and it's so much more bearable than doing it the old way. Them eyes as well from some of the characters were absolutely hilarious. I've always found it amazing how Ezio's sister can sit in that chair for almost 23 years in the same dress. Absolute madness and his mother saying a prayer for that long to. Commitment from this family is impeccable. :D

Ezio is still the absolute flagstone of this series. No character has come close to this guy. There are a few that are liked but none that match him.

I have high hopes for the new assassin, I heard he's getting a trilogy so let's hope he's as much fun as Ezio is. Doubt it though but one can hope. Thing is with this game is it kicked off Assassin's Creed into what we know now but it's success is also the biggest pain as there are soo many things going on in the universe now it's sometimes hard to keep track. I think they let it go to their heads a little bit.

Well, it's time to move onto Brotherhood. I would add a platinum image but honestly. It's just a blank screen because it was the credits + I was getting a ubisoft reward as well so it didn't take a photo probably so no one can see my account.

:platinum: Platinum #205 - Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PS4) :platinum:

1Lefa008.png

| Enjoyment: 10/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | 23/6/17 | Recommendable |

This has to be probably my favourite AC game. I'm not going to like it's basically took everything from 2 and made it better. Combat, Ezio himself, crossbow, parachutes the lot. It's shorter than 2 which is a given considering the amount that went on in the second game. Some characters get more chances like his sister and you can recruit people to the cause.

You could literally notice the graphics difference, 2 looked good but this one looked really well done. It's colourful, eyes are okay. Day night cycle make Rome really good looking. It's great running across famous landmarks like the Colosseum etc getting from A to B. It's neat they let you have the horse in the city to make it around a lot quicker and although I barely used it. I should of it, it helps a lot especially with mowing down them Harlequins. If you're going for them don't use a fast travel near them. Approach them from far away to let them spawn otherwise you'll be posting status', searching forums asking where the hell they are. You can run around the city buying shops in that district and each one would add to an overall income every 20 minutes. I kind of done a lot of pickpocketing and side missions really early and brought a load. By the end of the game I had around 600k florins on me and around 60k odd in the bank to pick up, which you'll see in my plat image.

Like stated though this is probably my favourite AC game out of the trilogy. The most fun still is 4 for me but the story and being fun in this is why it comes out on top it has the fun factor and the great plot. Which leads me to this games villain. Cesare Borgia. I honestly think he's my favourite Templar out of the whole series. He's brutal, cruel, sarcastic. What took away from him was near the end of the game all he did was cry to the guards but I won't spoil it for you. Most villains do anyway. You see Ezio turn from Assassin to Master Assassin which leads perfectly into his finale game.

Onto Revelations. Old Man Ezio's final game. I don't remember being as good as ACB but still very fun.

BfTDETz.jpg

I made jumping off the Castello the final trophy in the game. I wanted to jump off pull the parachute and show off the city when the platinum popped but when you open the parachute the game kind of throws the camera down. It was a good shot as well, sunrise on the horizon and most of Rome in the picture. Not to worry though, it's still a good final image.

I wish you were able to give money to friends who are going to be playing this in the future. There would be more than enough to get you up and going. 600k Surely the richest man in Italy right?

:platinum: Platinum #206 - Assassin's Creed: Revelations (PS4) :platinum:

1L7c3735.png

| Enjoyment 9/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | 25/6/17 | Recommendable |

There we have it. The end of a great trilogy. You can now have your rest Ezio, you've done more than enough to earn it. A great conclussion to one of the most iconic characters in gaming history in my opinion. Set a couple years after Brotherhood. Ezio leaves Italy and heads to Turkey trying to find keys and answers to questions that only Altair has. The game is Ezio trying to track down 5 keys to open up Altairs library in Masyaf. That's not all. Each Key collected holds a memory of Altair and we are once again able to control one of the assassin's who helped the assassin's rise back up. We see what happens after the first game with his life.

The gameplay only has a tiny improvement over ACB and that is the hook blade!.. Also, bombs. I really liked the bombs there wasn't a ridiculous amount of variety but the ones used were really useful in staying stealthy. Wasn't a fan of the defense mini game but it worked. Wasn't sure what I thought of Ezios suit. In the PS3 game I didn't take much notice but in this PS4 version don't think I really liked the shade. I did like the Hagia Sofia challenge armour that was pretty cool. The game was shorter than ACB and had some good characters. Yusuf was the fun leader of the assassin's over there. Definitely appreciate him. Sofia is very relevant to Ezios Finale as was the Prince. We got to see Masyaf again though which was great to see.

Don't think anyone is a fan of the first person segments of the game. There could of been the same content but a more elaborate climbing system still in third person. I don't think the first person adds anything to the game apart from a headache. Which leads me to DLC. I was a little pissed at Ubisoft for this. The DLC to this filled some very important story holes and the fact they released it as DLC really annoyed me. The whole first person again is frustrating. Especially the River Styx even after doing the short cut.

Oh well it's done now. Even though Ezio got a trilogy and we see Altair. There are soo many years we don't see as Altair and I genuinely think he could of had his own trilogy. He had the apple for over 60 years. 60+ years with the apple without any resistance besides Abbas? I highly doubt it. Would of been good to see. He's so important to the Assassin's Creed universe it just would of been nice to see him fleshed out.

No platinum image for this one. It's only the credits to The Lost Archive DLC. Not worth the hassle honestly. Oh well, looking forward to Assassin's Creed: Origins now and I have my theories as to Modern Day if there is one.  Thanks for looking.

:platinum: Platinum #207 - Alice: Madness Returns (PS3) :platinum:

1L8b875e.png

| Enjoyment: 8/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | 28/6/17 | Recommendable |

Where to start? This game is twisted it really is. Think you know everything about the world of Wonderland and Alice? Think again. American Mcgee really twisted this fairy tail to something straight out of hell. There's not much you can really say about this one without giving away too much information. This game is a sequel to the titled "American McGee's Alice" which is bundled with the game? I'm not sure. I have the Digital version and I noticed that the DLC which is the first game comes with it. I completed the first game with the knowledge that it was the first and it was just weird. It was tough at some points and you could tell the game was clearly made for PC. It's just the movement, you'd have to play it yourself. It's like a point and click kind of platformer. Good, yet grusome and I hated the Jabberwocky Part 2 was just annoying. I got lucky I think. I made a quick save and reloaded it about 20 times. Threw my knife like I usually did and ran to get some health and he just dropped. Weird but I wasn't complaining.

The characters in this main game aren't exactly how you'd remember them from your movies, books etc. They're twisted versions of themselves which I can't really say much about as it will spoil the plot but if you're interested in fairy tails gone gothic and bloody. Give this game a whirl. I've had it on my download list forever and it came up on my randomiser. It did not disappoint.

Most of the game was about collectibles which was annoying but wasn't too bad as you don't really have to go out of your way to get some. Level designs were good. I just still feel very weird after playing this game. Now, where's my knife?

:platinum: #208 - Mass Effect 2 (PS3) :platinum:

1L30671b.png

| Enjoyment: 9/10 | Difficulty: 5/10 | 16/7/17 | Recommendable |

Haven't platinumed anything in a couple of weeks. First came along a week of double xp on Modern Warfare Remastered which I practically played non-stop. Then when that finished I decided to purchase Injustice 2. So then I've been playing that for a bit so it wasn't until a few days a go I sat down and played this. It was a lot shorter than I remember.:hmm: I played it on Xbox when it released and thought it took me forever on that. Guess that's just the way it goes compared to todays RPG standards. I love this series though. I've only ever played 1 and 2 a couple of times over the years but being a series gamer like I am today. I'm really looking forward to playing 3. I know it has it's critics because it has ending choices instead of a fixed ending but I won't let that stop my experience (hope I don't platinum 3 and post here that it's crap). I didn't think there was a variety of guns compared to the first one. If I remember rightly anyway. The HUB worlds where you can explore seemed a little bit small in comparison to the first one to. I remember Citadel on the first game to be huge! Now it just seemed very closed off (obvious reasons) but a little too much. A great cast of characters though, each one was unique and offered different abilities to the team.

Loyalty missions were good variety all a bit different. Also, you didn't have to do them but loyalty helps for better conversations, additional abilities and could practically bed whoever you want. Cause Commander Shep is infact the king of the galaxy. Multiple choice dialogue in these games is an absolute must! I love it. You can be nice and thoughtful or an absolute horror. I played through as Paragon cause I want freebies from shops.

The game isn't that difficult apart from Insanity which is pretty hard if you're an idiot like me but I pulled through and saved the galaxy for a couple of weeks I guess. On to Mass Effect 3!

What a wonderful collection of plats, didn't know you had a checklist.

Regardless of the cause, I stumbled into your plat post and decided to leave a congratulations note. xD I guess the old saying of greatness magnetizing greatness was indeed true, so xD

Barely remember I have it myself. It took a while to put together but it's up and going good. Thanks for posting as well. Not many seem to do so I'm never sure what people think.

I tend to finish games late at night so whenever I post I guess everyone is asleep :P

Going to keep this one short and sweet. Not much you can really say without ruining basically 3 games for you. I'm glad I finally got round to finishing this trilogy as it's now one of my all time faves. The choices you make in the first game, impact the second which in turn impacts the third and in my opinion that's great. Gameplay obviously gets better after every installment. A lot of good things were added in after 2 which made combat more enjoyable. This game had variety in comparison to the previous two. A lot more weapons. A lot more armor. Just a lot of things now, it makes you have a lot more feels as well. They had a dramatic soundtrack for once and you finally cared about some characters. Also, a lot more variety when it comes to enemies. One thing I thought it lacked though was not as good team selection as two and three. I would tell you my team but it's spoilers. Everything in this game is just spoilers, which is why I won't type a lot. Oh and Insanity is easy in comparison to 2. Especially with a couple of powers such as Defense Matrix at full level (basically infinite shield).

I'll buy Andromeda eventually and will compare it to the shep trilogy. I highly recommend the games. 1 is a little difficult to get into and used to but when you do its pretty good.

:platinum: Platinum #210 - Thief (PS3)

1Lc9e23b.png

| Enjoyment: 7/10 | Difficulty: 4/10 | 25/7/17 | Recommendable | 5th Fastest Achiever as of 25/7/17 |

Rarity: 3.68% UR

I don't even know what to say about this game really. I think I enjoyed it a lot more on PS4 for obvious reasons. It was new to me back then and I enjoyed it being a first person stealth game. This time around I didn't like it as much. Enjoyment is a 7 because after you've done your initial playthrough after all the collectibles and what have you comes the Custom Difficulty. Where you can tweak whatever you want to make it harder. That's where the real joy of this game comes in. Making it a challenge to try and get through every mission without being seen and it's quite a challenge. Some missions were just annoying but didn't find it as difficult as when I did on the PS4 because this time around I basically new what was in store for me. With that in mind, I set it up which way worked for me. Trying to remember some of the routes I did and to be honest. Considering I played Thief around 3 years ago, it's funny how you can just remember some routes.

The "Hub" map as I would call it where you buy everything and go to missions etc is a big mess in my opinion. It can be quite tricky to navigate which is a pain when going for collectibles. That's one of the biggest complaints I have about this game. Which I shouldn't because you're a Thief :P there's just too many collectibles. I'm just glad they never had a collect EVERY loot trophy otherwise it'd take forever. The story is a bit weak to be honest. I won't go into it but I only have one thing to say about Erin and that is: ANNOYING. Just everything about her character is annoying. Lucky you don't see her too much but when you do.-_-

Since I played this on PS4 I knew what was in store for me so I didn't mess around when going for this game cause the longer it drags on the more annoying it became. I finished this game as the 5th Fastest Achiever and the platinum is an UR which does make sense but really doesn't. The game came out for PS+ what last year or 15'. I'm guessing a lot of players played it and because it's a pain they obviously didn't go for trophies. That's the only reason I can think as to why it's an UR but I'm not complaining. I wouldn't mind a sequel that had a stronger story and a lot more side mission thievery to be had.

First things first, a decent platinum image. Hooray. Tell you what, I basically started playing this game as something to play as I boosted Batman Arkham Origins and it turned out to be a really great game. It's a bit dark and gloomy but overall it was a decent experience. Pretty simple list to be honest not much that was difficult. Most trouble I had was outside the Fathers Memento room fight. Where the dog has all them buffs and the magic blocker. That combined with the amount of combat is in this I'd be screwed if I had to use a fingerprint scanner tomorrow. Feel like my finger has burnt off sliding my finger across the screen that many times.

Enemies surprisingly had good variety. There were different tiers of the same enemies with that orange rock like armor making you have to attack quick and plan your attack on who was most ideal to take down first. Not much else to say really, story was a little weird (Especially when finding the brother, that had me like :|) Overall, didn't expect much going into this one as it was a simple game to pass the time. Was meant to start Red Dead today but decided to finish this one up instead. Oh well, another game off the backlog. ONWARDS!

#212 - Batman: Arkham Origins

1L1dd0af.png

Platinum

Congratulations

2.20%

That's a week bloody trophy name and description eh for the BULL I've just been put through. Tried my layout a little different compared to my college like block of writing. Get's a little stale when you try and read something of mine I guess. I won't change it too much though as it's just copying others. I'll add a colour to something if I feel it needs to be pointed out. Sort of like Ala-Arska layout but not completely. Didn't want to outright copy.

Anyway this game, this game, this game. It's not amazing. Probably the weakest game in the series.  Which is a shame if you think about it. Origins stories are normally really good, just this one felt weak. There's a few factors to take into consideration why though. Wasn't made by RockSteady & Developers were split to make an online portion of the game which was without a doubt unnecessary in a game like this. So I think that MP team could of worked on SP and got some mistakes it had right. I won't talk about plot. Honestly, I don't remember much I played the single player campaign over 2 years a go. I only rented the game the first time without the knowledge of the gaming having multiplayer so you buy it thinking. Another Batman plat, sweeeeeeet. But No. So I returned the game obviously and did plan on getting round to it. It wasn't until late '16 where they said they were closing the servers and I wasn't really that bothered to be honest. I was like I'll never get it. So that was that. Then came the Summer Sale of '17 and it was like £5 so I decided to give it another shot since I heard the servers were still running. So in a week I've managed to do all the MP trophies and earn this Ultra Rara platinum and it's thanks to these guys. So a big shout out and thank you to DarkWizard61, Nojokaboom, Mohsen_47 & Mr_A2thaJ and a big thanks to the two who helped boost XP SADCM_PT &  Fiikra75. Possibly wouldn't of ever been possible for all of these guys so I'm thankful.

Multiplayer isn't too hard. It's just finding people who want to sit and boost for a few hours. The misc trophies aren't that difficult if there are 7 of you. The most annoying would be the roatation for a win on  every map with every faction. As it's all random and annoying. Can't complain though. It's finally done. Won't be doing DLC until it goes on sale. I hope they have no MP trophies in them at all.

#213 - Apotheon

1L6ed4d9.png

| Enjoyment: 7/10 | Difficulty: 2/10 | 7/8/17 | Recommendable |

I decided to mix up my backlog a bit instead of doing it in a random order in a randomiser. I decided for a while I want to do it in alphabetical order and this was first game on the list. I was trying to hold it off as long as possible. As I heard it was glitchy etc and crashes a lot. So I decided not to play it at launch. At the beginning of playing this, I thought here we go another 2D game where everything is going to be a pain in the ass but was pleasantly surprised when it actually wasn't. Everything is pretty simple. I'm guessing it's low-ish rarity is from when it first came out on PS plus it was broken so not many people picked it up? Can't complain with a very rare platinum and a easy one at that.

There wasn't much of a sound track and your voice actors were your typical bunch so that's a shame, this game could of had some pretty badass music but failed to deliver. There's over 70 collectibles. To be honest, they're not the worst in the world and they all show up on the map AND they have something inside of them that can help you on the journey. Don't worry when you see the guide and you see most things as missable. If you explore everywhere and go through every door it's pretty easy going. Think of it as a 2D God of War but without Kratos and his crazy combos. More as a plain soldier who was chosen for a quest due to some circumstances.

I did use the olympian glitch, why not? It's a developer bug right? I guess you could give yourself more of a challenge if you played it on Olympian but that would require 2 playthroughs as it only unlocks after the first playthrough. 1 out of the backlog down. 111 to go. I got this.

#216 - Ark: Survival Evolved (PS4)

1Le222b7.png

| Enjoyment: 8 (Online with friends) 4 doing the trophies in single player | Difficulty: 2/10 | 8/8/17 | Recommendable |

This came up on my list after Apotheon so decided to look into it properly. I played it a little bit on Xbox before it jumped over. I had a friend who was constantly on it and did find it intriguing and that was practically vanilla version. This game has soooo much in it since then and is actually really fun. I've only played a little bit with friends online but it's fun. Build your own house. Tame Dinosaur's yup, you heard right dino-freaking-saurs. In terms of trophies. They are very easy if you do them in single player and just do the commands which is highly recommended if you want this platinum. If you fancy a challenge do everything online then hates of to you but be prepared to sink hours. I used the commands and it still takes a while on some trophies because the commands are sooo long to input. Going for all the note's from every person. Typing in co-ordinates is a real pain in the ass. There's around 200+ collectibles where you're inputting co-ordiantes and man does it drag. There isn't much of a soundtrack in game so if you go for it. Put something on your computer or just listen to some songs because it's quite tedious. The trophy list has turned into a bit of a mess. The developers have added in another trophy requirement for platinum trophy. So the platinum is sat at around 3.36% UR while one of it's requirements trophies is sat at a silly low of 0.60% which infact actually makes it into my rarest section. No doubt they'll add more into it.

It's a fun game overall. No story. DLC constantly being released as free so there's enough content. As mentioned, this game is at it's best when you have a tribe of mates flying around, riding around whatever you fancy on the game. Trophy wise it's best you do it in a single player game where you can pause and have the commands to make everything a little simpler. My platinum image wasn't all that special as I was taming my list Dinosaur so I made sure to get a picture of my two closest tames. CHEEEEESE!

#217 - Army of TWO: The Devil's Cartel (PS3)

1Lf764c3.png

| Enjoyment: 8/10 | Difficulty: 3/10 | 13/8/17 | Recommendable |

Now, I don't know much about Army of TWO. I only ever played the originals demo back in the day a long long time ago. If I'm correct this is the third game and the only relevance it has to the first two games are two characters. Rios and Salem. Won't talk plot because it'll just ruin it. I won't have much to say on this to be honest. The game is pretty much in the title. You lead a character named Alpha who's partner is called Bravo. Bravo has your typical side-kick/buddy/lower in the chain of command cockiness attitude. Leaves the deeper you get into the game understandably. You're job is to protect a local politician who is trying his best to shut down the cartel and then from that point on the game is absolute nuts. Waves upon waves of enemies. It's like a progressive horde/score attack kind of game. You rack money up and you unlock better equipment as you go along. Missions are pure mayhem. Everything that happens is just in your face.

There isn't much in terms of character development which is a shame, considering these two are absolute badasses it would of been nice to touch up on history and what not but like I said this game's in your face. There's so much going on I guess it doesn't really have time. Not much of a soundtrack. A good variety of weapons, masks, outifits and tattoos and you can mix and match after every episode. This game can be played full online co-op or couch co-op and if you're looking for a fun shooter which is just mayhem give it a go. It's some great fun. I was hoping there would be a sequel involving these two or that of a possible Reboot of the series for this gen of consoles but I'm not sure how well this sold or how well received it was.

#218 - Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (PS3)

1L7fe90f.png

Prizes, Plunder, and Adventure!

6.25% rarity as of 22/8/17

It's a shame I didn't play this first on PS3 and then moved onto the PS4 version but I doubt there's much difference to be honest. The game is easily one of the best Assassin Creed games in the series. There isn't a million things to do but enough to help you get sidetracked for a few hours on end. Such as collecting every collectible on every area. Figuring out all the treasure maps. Traveling around a massive open map full of life and colour. Before playing this the second time I think I would of said Ezio was my favourite assassin due to his trilogy and how bad ass he was. Honestly though, I now think my favourite leans towards Edward. Personally, I think he's a lot more relatable to people than Ezio. He literally started with nothing and changed all that by becoming a well known and respected pirate. Ezio had that gutsmashing family moment where you literally see him turn from a boy to an old man. With Ezio you only see his adult life but you do get some flashbacks.

He's funny, he's fearless. He's literally fighting both Assassin's and Templars for gold. You see him grow in the game to which was important for him. He's welsh to like me so that's an automatic win! I just thought people could related more to him so that's why he's my favourite. Play the game, if you don't have him as first favourite. He will most likely be your second. Edward and Ezio compared to the rest of the assassins are in a league of their own in my opinion. This game did have Multiplayer which has drained the past couple of days for me. It's boring and doing solo wolfpack, take's a long time. Not to mention keeping track of everyting for All-rounder trophy which is why this platinum has a very rare rarity.

Single player enjoyment: 9/10

Multiplayer enjoyment: 3/10

There are a few people still playing so if you're thinking about going for the platinum go for it. The only trouble I had was finding a game of Domination but for some reason when I reset my console I found a game straight away. So If you find a game mode and no one joins it. Try turning it on and off. Might work, might not.
