Alantor32
Hear me out, some games take a long time to develop, right? So when the game comes out, people will be happy and saying it is worth the wait. But some people will get tired of waiting and saying that it will release in 2030 or so. Then they are over eaggerating (Sorry, can't spell sometimes) Is over eaggerating a bad thing? nenugalimas
If you were to take it all literally then yeah, probably. Exaggeration is just a way of expressing things. I dont see it as being good or bad.
DrBloodmoney
Its hyperbole. A legitimate linguistic tool. Asking if itis bad is like asking "is sarcasm bad?" Or "is irony bad?" Only if the nuance of the point being communicated is lost.
Beyondthegrave07
Exaggerating is good if you are trying to bring attention to a particular point, but it's often overused on everything and leads to a bottomless pit of inaccuracies.
