ITISF
Hi yall I'm doing my Hardcore run with a Bio-Specialist character but I really got bored of this game, it's repetitive af and I'm wondering if I can join someone playing at Legend difficulty to boost my level way quicker?. And the most important question, is it okay to get downed without all the squad gets downed? Edited June 3, 2017 by ITISF
ValeNort46
In hardcore mode when you die that's it, only way is to cloud save after 2-3 missions and then that data to make sure if you die you can have a backup to re-download and continue
TNekke
If you get downed on hardcore run, you die and stay dead. teammates can't even revive you. so it's risky to tag along with high levels on legend.
Freed0m_4-LiFe
If you're seeking the platinum on this game, and still aiming for the level 30 hardcore trophy, I'll recommend you to take the Saboteur class, and then join a Legendary session if you can find one, and focus your skill points on Camouflage. As you start the game, try to dodge ennemies by staying in a corner. You have your "Second Wing" as a warning; once it's depleted, use your camouflage and then exit the game session (so you wont have to start over). I also tried to avoid Horde invasion, because you get overwhelmed very fast... I used this to climb level 30 and above. Wish you good luck !
ITISF
Thanks to you all, got my platinum trophy. I was a Bio-Specialist lvl 14 when I finished Mothership mission and proceeded to World 2 and started to join Legendary missions and climbed to lvl 30 in no time. JeManquedHygiene
Also, if you've got the season pass, remember you can start directly with a level 15 character at world level 2 ! So I just created a level 15 saboteur and joined sessions on the first Alaska map in legendary difficulty, with at least 2/3 other players. With the saboteur's cloaking ability, double rush ability and vortex grenades, you can actually get out of most dangerous situations. I only had to quit the game twice because of an incoming horde. I completed my entire hardcore level 30 run in less than 20 minutes ! ?

Auto-Tomato
I ran through it with the Tank, a fully upgraded shield trashes everything in sight, especially the horde, but whatever you feel comfortable with. I made use of the cloud too, and a devastator with the electricity on shoot perk is, imo, hands down the best weapon in the game...I think it might be a season pass weapon though, along with the vortex grenade which again is best. Luckily I had a purple lvl 28 devastator with the perk that far outperformed any legendary lvl 30 ones without the perk. It was a decent game, a little disappointing from Housemarque tbh, a DN reskin, not entirely finished and had some awful camera issues at times, especially in the ufo, mother/arkships which felt pretty generic and dull. Good fun for a while but repetitive and tiring long before the Plat popped! I know HM do 'arcade' very well but I'd like to see them step-up and try something a bit different with a bigger budget. Just noticed the date and you have the Plat, grats! lol Edited July 8, 2017 by RedMustang72 possible onset dementia
Winds-of-Neptune
back up your save after every 1 or 2 missions!!Best way I found was to get to world 2 (Bio Specialist) and do all the map locations. By doin so you will run into people who are like 30/150-300 and it seems they are there to help, randomly joining your game and clearing out the map for you.On a few first maps try to play anything other than veteran so u can snag a good weapon. And it seems for me when a 30/*** player shows up your weapons rarity gets better. If all else fails just play veteran on world 2 till you open up most of the maps, you will make it to 30 before you do, cause some random high stat persom will help you level up a few times in a map.Dont grind the first level lol.. plz no..If you meet a 30/*** player and msg them and ask for hardcore help some will be more than willing... they are a good crew on the game.. I think I got kicked once... Im gonna try to level up hardcore and pay it forward....
