QuentinCle95
What's everyone's thoughts on the trophies? Everything looks like they're just story-based, collectible or miscellaneous trophies, but then those last two trophies come into the picture. One asks you to never be captured by the enemy in the game (so essentially, a No-Death Playthrough). Since I have no idea how difficult the game is, I also have no idea how difficult this trophy will be. Secondly: Completing the game without tapping. I'm pretty sure with "tapping", they mean, cause the vibrations that allow you to see. So it's basically a run where you have to know exactly which steps to take without any/much visual cues, like the Minimalist trophy from The Unfinished Swan, only much much longer? That could be incredibly annoying. Edited June 6, 2017 by QuentinCle95
Popular Post ImplyingYouCare
Having the player do a perfect run is understandable. No death/never getting caught is likely very doable with practice. It's the trophy for never using the tapping mechanic that I absolutely hate. Trophies like this and the Outlast 2 one for never reloading your batteries are just awful because they completely go against the entire premise of the game. Taking away the player's only tools for navigating and forcing them into complete darkness isn't interesting or good in any way. Creating a game that's entirely based around a single unique tool and then saying "never use it" ruins the whole point. Being incredibly difficult doesn't make it a smart or fun thing for the player. Memorizing the whole game or tying yourself to a video guide are the only ways that this is possible, and that ruins the whole point of this style of horror game. Trophies can be used to challenge the player and get them to play games in ways they wouldn't normally think to. This isn't one of those; this is the developers trying to make a tough trophy that gets you to play differently even though they made a game with only one real way to play. Stripping the game's single draw is just awful design no matter how you look at it.
Quink666
The no dying/tapping should be easy using the cloud to upload you saves. Seems like a really easy list with practice
Leenewbe
Had my eye on this one for a while, good that it has a plat, can't wait to play it.
Jesaya815
Very cool concept to navigate through it with echolocation. Could be two playthroughs or three, depending on how difficult the last two trophies on the list turn out to be. They sure sound intimidating, but it's all a matter of preparation and learning the game, before tackling these.
WatertownsFinest
Trophies look great and fun. This thread should've been called "A Blind Observation"
