atlasxof-
Isn't it intentional? Cause this happens with -@ars-, .@ars., *@ars* and etc.

If this is an actual bug Win 10.0.14393 Chrome 58.0.3029.110 64-bit. Usability considered you'll put side notes in brackets and if it means broken tagging, seemingly the feature is too. damon8r351
Putting a space after the special character before you type in the tag doesn't fix it?
ars
@damon8r351 ( @damon8r351) (@damon8r351) well yes it does, but that's not proper formatting
damon8r351
It's not but sometimes you have to do what you have to do to fit it in the limitations. If you're desperate for parentheses around your tags.
ars
Seriously I know we love to exchange opionions here, but bug reports especially when the engine fails on transcript are not a matter of debate.
thegirlruka
You can type ( @ars ) and then erase the spaces to make (@ars) I would think it's a limitation of the forum software as typing anything but space before @ disables mentioning.

DARKB1KE
Why do you type it like that anyways? just do @ars @ars @ars if you want multiple tags, no need for brackets. Edited June 12, 2017 by DARKB1KE

Anyway I've looked at the replies in a state of confusion and amazement, having it slowly dawn upon me why there are no bug reports on PSNP. But that's something I can help you guys with! https://usersnap.com/blog/what-is-a-bug-report/
