I have tried the offline glitch that allows you to create another character but that didn't allow me to earn this trophy. The above person is right, I was able to gather all the coins I needed through the mobile app. It's pretty easy and fast to do as well. Off topic but your thread title is a bit misleading, maybe something more fitting like 'need help with off we go' or 'off we go: HELP!".
