The hell? Fastest leaderboars are flooded with strange accounts

Recently, I decided to check Alien Isolation fastest achievers and found strange thing. TOP 10 account are named using only CAPS LOCK and some of them use Hitman words, some uses terms from Alien Isolation, other uses thing like BEST PS3/PS4/PSN GAMER. I decided to open these accounts to see what the hell.

Here is a list of these accounts:

https://psnprofiles.com/WeyIand-Yutani

https://psnprofiles.com/TERMlNATOR_T5000

https://psnprofiles.com/INDlANA__JONES

https://psnprofiles.com/AMANDA_RlPLEY

https://psnprofiles.com/ALIENS_C_MARINES

https://psnprofiles.com/BEST_P_S_3_GAMER

https://psnprofiles.com/BEST_P_S_4_GAMER

https://psnprofiles.com/BEST_P_S_N_GAMER

https://psnprofiles.com/H_l_T_M_A_N_-_47

https://psnprofiles.com/PREDATOR_I987

It's definitely hosted by one person. But it's the craziest thing I've ever seen. Every account contains 30 100%'ed games, with speedrun times. But how the hell he did Uncharted 3 PS3 100% 10 times? And most times are top ones in UC3 fastest achiever section.

Your thoughts?

Couldn't pass it xD

You forgot: https://psnprofiles.com/USA_Elite_Badass too. The guy has played the same 30 games for at least thousands of hours now. Hard to say what drove him to do this, maybe they're the only games he has and he's making the most out of a shitty situation because he could lack the finances to be able to afford newer games. This person also took over the whole top 10 for Aliens: Colonial Marines. It's funny actually since a few hours ago I mentioned the accounts to my friend because I just recently got Crysis 3 platinum which is also one of the 30 games the guy has done multiple times and unsurprisingly the accounts are flooding the fastest achievers board there too. I just wonder if he actually solo's the co-op for Uncharted 3 on his own or not, since I'd be surprised if he has any friends that he can ask to join and do the co-op with every damn time, 11 times would be excessive to ask for help with it hahahaha.

A fastest achiever doesnt even mean you're a "pro" at the game. (most of them) It is actually pretty cool to see that someone spam the boards haha. But if i wouldnt have that many distractions.. i would do that for Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition as well :)

Every time I've ever seen you post anything on any forum you always have to mention dmc. What's your deal? I get you're proud of being good at the game, but dude, let it rest for like 5 minutes.

I have a harder challenge for you than perfecting dmc. Go 1 year without mentioning any of the dmc games.

On topic: If it really is one guy, that's a helluva epic troll move. I think it's a huge waste of time. Just like our buddy Lloyd here, they need to broaden their horizon. They need to get some variety going on.

There are other signs of them being cheated, all of them got the same 30 plats, and UC3 so many times, and like 3 times faster than anyone else... yeah, I don't think it's legit, whatsoever. I think it also has some PS3 plats popping in +0 secs, which is super rare, ALL my PS3 plats are +1 secs, not even a single +2, or +0. If it's +0 it was PS4. Pretty damn sure this was all cheated, and that using downloaded and edited trophy folders. :(

I don't know how UC3 works but for some other games you can prepare Trophies without unlocking them, like MK9 for example.

UC3 Contains DLC with only online trophies which isn't easiest to boost and still takes a loads of time. Moreover 2 trophies are random (you get artifacts randomly dropping from kills), you have to collect 2 treasure collections to get it.

Even if you know what to do, the average time you'll need is 150-200 hours. And he got several first places in such leaderboards, so he got all treasures collected pretty fast I suppose. there are times with 1 week and several days which is like he almost never slept during that period.

It's just strangest thing in trophies I've seen and If it's legit then I'm impressed (not in good way, cause that's ridiculous for me but still he deserves respect).

So everytime someone plays a game more times than anybody else and is therefore more experienced and better, automatically makes him a cheater. By the mere fact that these timestamps are not the same time proves that you are completing wrong. This website should be based off of proof, not jealousy and bad reasons like whether someone is trophy hunting same games.

Funny this topic came up. I wondered if anyone else would spot it. I was doing an exercise about a month ago where I obtain the stats for Owners and Achievers to calculate rarity on games I own.

Alien Isolation is one such game and I noticed too that clicking through the top 100% that they had the same games, just in a different order, over and over again, it almost looked like a copy and paste job. Even the names have a similar undertone.

I was interested for a few moments and was going to look at it more in depth, comparing profiles, times and stuff but then thought, nah I'll watch Paddington 2 instead.

Once I stumbled upon someone like this and called him a filthy cheater (he was asking some really sketchy questions about a game I can't remember), and for that reason I was Reported for Member Abuse, hehe.

Later on the account was banned for Trophy Hacking, but my scar remained ?

A couple games I'm listed on the front page in Fastest Achievers has some players with dodgy completion times.

I don't know if game saving is still a thing at this point, but when I see rank #1 - 2 etc having a significantly faster time than the person below him/her, something is up.

People like Greenzsaber are legit who do speed running as a hobby. Definitely a good guy, I used his website for help on a couple games.
