Dwightsarmy14
As far as I know wouldn't white listing still require you too hide the game that was hacked you just wouldn't have a flag? I feel like it's very unlikely that someone would have 3 or more of there games hacked online. Everyone in disputes (with 3+ popular games)always claims it happened to them but then always have MW2 in there as well. which is a game where you can't get your trophies hacked online. As I said, found like 3 cases that looks like mod menu. I'm kinda curious how they do the green text in someone else's game, but I don't think it actually unlocks all their trophies. As I said, just going off personal experience. But obviously since I already have the platinum and have had it for 8 years now, it didn't pop anything for me. But yeah. All i'm saying is it can happen.
Popular Post The-Man-In-Black
So I've spent the past 3 days on an alt account, just to see if Black Ops 2 is as bad as everybody says it is. Yeah....it's not even close. Edit: It can be pretty bad if you have the DLC installed, but if you only have the core game, you can expect a largely hacker-free experience. But even at its worst, it's still not as terrible as some people claim it is. Honestly, I thought things weren't going to go so well when my 3rd game was dominated by a hacker. I landed mid-game into someone who seemed to have an unlimited death machine, spinning around in circles as everyone else (myself included) died the instant they spawned, regardless of where they were on the map. The guy controlling the death machine was on the back of the boat spinning in circles. My 5th and 7th games consisted of games starting up where people instantly started dropping scorestreaks. I didn't jump in mid-game...this was the start of the lobby and someone called dogs, VSAT, Swarm, etc. Then after that.....almost nothing. The rest of my first day and most of my second day went fine. I stumbled across a couple of other players that started dropping scorestreaks, and I counted 3 guys that were using some kind of aimbot (the replays showed then snapping from opponent to opponent in an unnatural way and locking on with perfection). I also stumbled across two guys who were running around the map at breakneck speed, along with one guy who appeared to be invisible. On day 3, I stumbled across another group of hackers, as their characters appeared to be glitched out during replays, firing around randomly like they were having an epileptic seizure. But the minute you appeared on their screen, you died. The replays would show them just firing randomly into the sky. I also got an absurdly high number of game invitations, particularly as I exited these lobbies. I opened up the invitations, and they were only generic invitations; nothing to indicate whether or not I was being invited into a hacked lobby. As my goal is to see if I could casually stumble into a hacked lobby vs. being invited into one or seeking one out, I ignored all these requests so I have no idea if any of the invitations were to hacked lobbies. But 95% of my games went without incident. Just normal, average lobbies with nothing going on. And no trophies auto-popped. I honestly believe at this point that hackers themselves are exceedingly rare and typically easy to avoid. At most, they'll be a petty annoyance as you mumble to yourself, exit the lobby, and move onto the next game. Heck, most of the cheaters I stumbled across weren't even that good *with* the cheating. The chances of randomly stumbling into a hacked lobby are quite small, and hackers and hacked lobbies are going to have a minimal impact on your gaming session. The best thing to do is if you suspect someone in your lobby is a hacker, just leave the game and move onto the next one. BO2 still has tens of thousands of players, so there's no shortage of games. The reports out there claiming that BO2 has turned into some kind of hackfest is overblown, and I suspect most of the reports are coming from people who just can't admit that they suck at the game and instead want to blame their poor play on "teh haxorz". Edit: So for day four, I decided to download all the DLC. I had only been playing the core game for the first 3 days. It seems that most of the hackers have all the DLC installed, which means you'll be isolated from many of them if you don't have the DLC installed. I ran into a lot more hackers with the DLC installed than I did when I was just playing the core game. The mod/hack/whatever where you can just randomly shoot up in the air and kill everybody seems to be the most popular one out there, with various aimbots being a somewhat distant second. I also ran into a couple of people who used various methods to change the color of their names. With all of that being said, I was still able to play about 75% of my games without incident. And I still did not run into any lobbies that caused trophies to pop. I have probably been in well over 200 lobbies by this point. And keep in mind that this is coming from a middle aged man with poor eyesight and a whopping 1.15 K/D. Generally speaking, I suck. But I suck because I suck, not because everybody else is a cheater or hacker. That said, while the chances of stumbling into a hacked lobby are small, they're not zero. The chance does exist. This is why I still support a whitelist for games like this. The number of people who are going to be legitimately affected is tiny to say the least, and most people who are going to try to use it as an excuse to try to cover up intentionally hacked trophies are going to be easily outed. I'd rather see the literal handful of people who are likely to be affected by this get a pass instead of being labelled as a cheater vs. having someone labelled as a cheater just because they got extremely unlucky. Kulzyc
I feel bad for people who still play COD MP on PS3, I stopped doing so in 2015 when I got my stats reset on COD Ghost, 24 days of playtime gone to shit... that's when I know it was the end of the PS3. Kind of sucks that Sniper had to hide his list because of that. I think he would of been fine if didn't say anything seriously, there's still a lot of cheater in the leaderboard here. I added one my friends 2 years ago which have all his COD Ghost trophies popped by a hacker back in 2015 and he's still here ?? Spoiler https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/2225-call-of-duty-ghosts/QC_SAM_DIABLO (Report him you have time, I don't think he care)
JohnCenaSong-
@The-Man-In-Black makes a good point that's worth remembering for multiplayer as a whole. As much as people may complain about hackers on various forums or youtube videos, as popular as it sounds it's usually still a small minority of matches and you have the option to just back out immediately if someone just aimbots you right at the start. Is it an annoyance? Yeah, but a small scale annoyance like dropping a penny, you move on. Considering old CoD games are probably the worst offenders for hacked lobbies they don't completely dominate the experience. It's actually really positive to think about, considering how negative it sounds to known that pretty much every multiplayer game will have hackers roaming around at some point, knowing that the most extreme cases still don't dramatically hinder the experience is kind of nice.
a-m-j-w
Does this happen with zombies as well? Already have big leagues but need to clear up the zombies trophies (they're the only online trophies I need for this game)

CristianX-97
From my personal experiences in the past, you'd have to spawn in the actual match to have a chance of getting hacked or Trophy Pop. What I always do when going back to an old Call of Duty (usually Black Ops 2 and before), and hardly see anyone ever mention is, you don't immediately spawn in. Rather, you press (CIRCLE) to get away from the Class menu, and I spectate for like 10-20 seconds. If the match looks legit, I spawn in and play. If I see a dude flying in the air, or automatic Headshots upon other players spawning, I don't back out, I SIGN OUT from PSN. This voids any contact with that lobby/hacker, and it's what got me through a full legit Prestige on COD 4, WaW, MW2, BO, MW3, and BO2, all in late 2016 - 17. This has saved me what could of been 10's of potential hacks/stats screw up on my account. Obviously, to some extent, I had some luck and fortune with regards to the trophy stuff, as that from what I know it's more unpredictable as to when it occurs.
