So because of a variety of reason (Boredom, Pride, Revenge, Greed, Xbox hate, Switch envy, Vita 2 sadness and more) @xZoneHunter @Kochiya Shana @Andrea @Kent10201 @MStalker58 @Wdog-999 @HcG Clawz @Hertz and I @soultaker655 decided to have a year long plat race. Placement 1st Place with 2369 points. @Andrea is truly the enigma of this group of plat racers. Currently undefeated in any event, some say she is just as savage as @Kochiya Shana and other say her tactical know how rival some of the greatest tactician of PSNP. Will this plat race finally remove the shroud of mystery from around her or will her future victory here only show a competitor to be feared. 2nd Place with 479 points Before the race could start the one of the strongest and lewdest trophy hunter on the site asked to join the race. Will this Lewd Hunter steal the win from everyone or will the lack of Lewds stop this hunter in his tracks. 3rd place by elimination After a pretty dominant run in the THL this Mighty trophy hunter has been pulled into the depth of madness by the anime kids, but he will show that his Number is not up in this race. Because he has already shown the 9 different ways he will win. 4th place by elimination The current admin of the THL as asked to be added to the race. Even though he is a strong trophy hunter underneath all those plats is a the true heart of a scrub. Will this racer be able to keep his scrubbyness at bay long enough to win or will his true scrubby heart hand him a scrubs defeat. 5th place tie by elimination And then there's me. The scrub-slayer, the taker of top nep hats, the one on the darkside, the Re:com master, that one guy who joined the Brawl3r cult. However you may know of me I'm here to win. 5th place tie by elimination It has been a hard year for xZoneHunter so far. First he lost to those on the dark side, Then a bucket and a shady jewel delayed him from winning some gold. After all of that some would think Zone would just quietly go back to playing MMOs, Card Games, and Osu for the rest of year, but instead of doing that Zone is out to re-earn his Top Nep hat in this plat race. 7th place by elimination The Super Scrub who walks the path of Lewdness has asked to join the race. We all know he's going to lose the race, but will he also fall off of the path of lewdness? With the Lewd Hunter also in the race no one knows if this Lewd Super Scrub will be able to withstand the urge to become trash in the face of one who is just as lewd as he is? 8th place by elimination After a pretty good run in the THL Kent10201 is here to prove that he is not a just duck in a bucket, but instead a Golden Keyblade Colonel. Maybe a certain cat who is known for his honesty will help out the Wild Card of this race. 9th place by elimination The savage servant of the Touhou class as decided to join another plat race. After slowly but surely whittling down all of her past opposition, this vicious tenshi is here to win. The Rules Plats will have a flat point value based on rarity. C=1, UC=2, R=4, VR=8, UR=16. A bonus multiplier will be added to each plat that is obtained from the same game series. The point value of each plat is calculated with the following formula: (Rarity X multiplier) The bonus multiplier is applied to all games in the series. Series is determined by name of the game. So all FF, KH, MGS, GOW, and so on games count as a series. (There are exception to this) Stacking plats from multiple consoles and regions is allowed. Stacked plats also get the bonus multiplier. Crossover games are allowed, but will only count for one series. Auto pops will not count. If a participant can not earn at least 16 points a month they will be eliminated from the race. The race starts on July 1st 2017 at 12:00 am UTC and will end on June 30 2018 at 11:59pm UTC Final score is based on rarity of June 30 2018. Example of score calculation: Using MGS5 (ps4) rarity. Obtaining the MGS5 plat without earning any other MGS plats would get you 8 points. However, if you then earn the plat for MGS:PW not only it would earn you 16 points (8 X 2=16), but also the MGS5 would get the 2x multiplier. Which means it would now earn you 16 points. So after earning both the MGS5 and MGS:PW plat you have 32 points. The Scores So Far. Should we make a rule that outlaws using a fan or any other household appliances to earn trophies for you? Clawz...you must really enjoying having me kick your ass to sign up for another race. "If a participant can not earn at least 16 points a month they will be eliminated from the race." Walt the Dog Posted July 1, 2017 Share Posted July 1, 2017 I am not posting 20 fucking plats yet again, so here's a breakdown of what I have in terms of points. 17 Common + 3 x 2 Uncommon = 23 Base Points Batman (PS4) and Batman (PS3) (both common) get a stack bonus of 1 point each as do my English and Japanese versions of Period Cube, making for an additional 4 points together, which makes my current total 27 points. Got the Madden 16 plat (missing the fastest ever time by about an hour) and with it I earn an additional 48 points. 16 from the plat then 16 each for both Madden 15 and 16 because of the stacking bonus. I have plans to get 13 and possibly 18 depending on what the list looks like, so that's something to look forward to. For the rest of the week I will keep making good gains on different UR rhythm games I have, and dead space 3, and possibly start on thief. I also got The Town of Light and The World of Nubla (NA), which makes for three more commons, which brings my total up to 30 so far as none of those three games have any special relations and, unless we get Enigmatis 3 or the people behind Nubla decide to either explore the East or finally release Part 2, they likely never will. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
