Popular Post Maxie_M0us3
How to Setup "That's You!" Hi there! For everybody who plans to download and play this social party game, you might not know that That's You!, as the first game of the PlayLink series, will require mobiles and/or tablets connected to the same network as the PS4 in order to play, as you'll need to download the respective game's companion app. So here how to setup and play this game with your friends: Step 1: Download the App As mobile devices will be connected to That's You!, you'll need to download an app. The app is now available for both iOS and Android devices. Make sure that your device meets the minimum system version installed in order to play the app. On your local app store, either Apple's App Store or Android's Google Play, search for "That's You" and download it. Minimum requirements iOS (iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad) 8.0 or later. 9+ recommended for better performance. Android 4.2 or later. 4.4+ recommended for better performance. Step 2: Connect Your Device Start both the App and the Game. Touch "Play" on the App to connect the device to the PS4 via Wi-Fi. Make sure that the PS4 and the device are connected to the same network. The device should then be able to be connected to the game. If you have no Wi-Fi or a weak signal, That's You! can create a Wi-Fi Hotspot, making devices to connect directly to the PS4. Press the OPTIONS button on your PS4 controller. Select "Wi-Fi Hotspot" from the main menu. Follow the instructions on the screen. Have fun! Edited July 4, 2017 by Maxie Mouse
wolverine123
How many mobiles/tablets do you need?

If you want to play a local game, unfortunately, from what Full House and Prolific Creators trophies describe, we'll need six devices for the Platinum trophy. By judging from the only known online trophy Friends Without Borders, you'll need a single one device if you want to play online. It's not known yet if we can play six players online, eliminating the need of six phones/tablets. EDIT: @Mardolina confirmed that it may be possible for 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 players game trophies to be achievable via online play because we can invite up to 6 players in a Friend Only game. An organized session should prove if 6 phones locally aren't required. Edited July 4, 2017 by Maxie Mouse
Babsimabuse
Hoped, that 4 or more controllers would do it, too
Maxie_M0us3
@Babsimabuse Yep. Only devices under iOS 8.0 or Android 4.2 minimum are the controllers for this game. PlayLink games sound so great for trophy hunters... Edited July 4, 2017 by Maxie Mouse

inflict54
i couldn't setup more than 1 player with 1 phone, and second controller doesnt help. Also looks like you can only setup network game with someone from your PSN friendlist.

Mardolina
I have just launched the game and set it in friends only game - there are 6 spots for 6 ppl so it's probably gonna work :). Edited July 4, 2017 by Stevieboy Use Gaming Sessions to find players, not the forum.

Sounds so perfect to boost and having fun at the same time! We guys would need to organize sessions, seeing if the insane 6 mobiles/tablets local game won't be required. If anybody wants to join a 6 player test session, PM me on PSN and I add you to the group. Edited July 4, 2017 by Maxie Mouse
ImAPirateSoSueMe
Damn, this is like Fibbage but a lot more work. At least with Fibbage I can use my PC as well, with one tab per player on a web browser.
lordzeze
What happened to console games actually using a controller to play the game? I hope this fad ends soon. I didn't like it when Jackbox did it and I still don't like it now.
Zanreo
idk, it's good for local MP party games where the owner don't want to get more/can't afford extra controllers (those things get expensive) It's not for all games, but for these kinds of games it works well (plus with other games not requiring its own app, can also be streamed to play with non-local friends) Edited July 5, 2017 by Zanreo

I seen they are adding a Trivia game (gameshow it looks like) later on down the road.. I hope you can use a regular controller for it. PS4 is severely lacking in the trivia side of things I enjoy those every so often
