Twitch Collaboration community

As the title suggests this is about live streaming on twitch. I've just started my new channel after a two year break to live stream some games and some game development (will live stream game art for a project our indie team hopes to release soon).

I was wondering if people knew a good way to get your channel noticed?
Or if there is a community somewhere to find people to collaborate with?

Any tips will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

*Also if there is another post on here about this...

Make good product that people want to see.

Seriously I only watch 1 LPer and I hate his streams as it is full of annoying people who just want to be noticed and takes away from him playing the game. I would much rather someone put time and effort into making a good video with proper editing, mic work, sound, and good commentary and not just inane rambling.

Sorry...I guess I may be the wrong market for this

You may enjoy my friends stream "Whadhebreak". It's not crowded and he doesn't talk non stop, but he does talk and it's awesome when he does because it can be absolutely hilarious.

Best it's not every day, only Saturdays and Wednesdays. And usually only at night(he works full time).

Wednesdays are Hump Week Horror day(we like to... "encourage"... him to play horror games cause he can't handle them well lol)

Saturday nights are usually party game nights that people can join in.

And it's great cause he's not 15 or 20, he's my age around 30, so it's not annoying.

Only stream I actually watch.

From what my friend does, just talk to other streamers first. Get friendly with other streamers with like minds and don't be afraid to ask for advice.

Go to events if they're near you for gaming and streaming.

Also be yourself! Have a good time!

People pick up on that when they watch.

Also never stop trying to improve!

But! If you find something that works, don't break it. If you're followers are going up, you're doing something right.

There's a corner of entertainment in twitch for a lot of people.

Whatever that may be. : )
