I still want to see Robert's Rebellion SO badly. For starters, Tom Hardy has to play Robert. It's the only choice. Second of all I want to see more Arthur Dayne, I want to see the battle of the Trident, Rhaegar, The Mad King's final hours.

I'm still anticipating we get some version of Robert's Rebellion in a flashback. Who should play Rhaegar? Orlando Bloom obviously ?.

Also pretty excited that the last episode is called

"The Dragon and the Wolf."

Subtle title GoT, so Dany and Jon finally do it ?. This could also be a reference to Rhaegar and Lyanna, we have to see them on screen right?

Yeah...that ending though...

Yeah I don't think Gregor is capable of much more outside of Cersei's orders.
Oh look, everyone from all the episodes that had gone missing is back lol. (except Melisandre)
I don't remember seeing any bit of Gregor's face before.
How is Jon not sweating to death?
So glad Cersei felt fear from the walker.
I actually liked Euron's exit speech.
Dany and Davos did not look happy lol.
221B Baker Street, King's Landing. That's where you'll find Tyrion Holmes.
lol why would Jon ask Sansa's opinion in any matter?
Euron leaving set himself up to be taken apart on the seas by Dany.
LMFAO nutshot ain't working lmfao hahahahahahaha.
Did.Not.See.That.Coming. FUCKING BRAN DID SOMETHING FUCKING FINALLY.
Arya must have been psyched to kill Baelish.
I knew Cersei was lying. I hope everyone's right and Jaime kills her.
Didn't expect Euron's departure was a ploy.
Really hope Jaime kills her lol.
Bran - "I remember everything." Sam - *shrugs* fcking weirdo.
Bran's mind got blown lmfao.
Jon be like, "how's this for tiny, bitch."
Tyrion standing outside like a creep.
Zombie dragon seems faster than normal dragons. :S
Zombie dragon seems to have gotten a power boost too.

Some notes about the finale now that it's over and finally aired:

-Jon is the worst leader in the seven kingdoms. Quite simply a complete and utter moron who makes mistake after mistake but they NEVER bite him in the ass because he's the hero in shining armor. They make a point to draw a comparison between him and Ned - but Ned lost his head. He wasn't invulnerable through plot device after plot device.

-Lots of cool reunions. Loved the Hound/Brienne stuff; that little smile he gives about Arya. Tyrion and Bronn and Pod was fantastic.

-The reactions to a literal dead man were spot on.

-I thought they copped out with Euron but I was wrong. Would have actually been kind of fitting for his character but again, lazy.

-Littlefinger's death was alright. I wanted to laugh when he started begging because it was so fake and i'm not sure if that's intentional or if it was meant to be authentic and convincing.

-Had a god damn heart attack at the Jaime/Mountain scene. Legit though his head would roll.

-The Jon/Dany scene was as predictable as could be, the reveal lacked any punch and Rhaegar looks like discount Viserys. Well shot incest porn, I suppose.

-Was super scared for Beric and Tormund. Was happy they gave Beric more screen time don't take him away from me.

-Glad i'm not the only one who noticed the zombie dragon was faster.

-The wall is down, shit's getting real. No more of that in the title song, eh?

It was an alright episode to be honest. Not too great; not too bad. Just kind of middling as the same flaws that plagued the series for some 3 seasons now persist but it had its good moments.

What does it say about Cersei's character being unable to not only kill the brother she loves...but being unable to kill the brother she actually hates?

I can't imagine what the next season would have been like if Tyrion and Jaime had been killed off. Cersei now has another enemy.

For anyone who wondered about who has "more right" to be on the Throne, there's no more discussion about who the "rightful" heir is. (even though I don't believe in bloodline succession.)

I feel like there was a missed opportunity. I thought for sure Bran was watching the wall through the ravens. Seeing the dragon topple it would have made a good scene if they zoomed out of his eyes. He could warn Dany ahead of time as well.

Oh my god more fucking incest!  As everyone has said it was to be expected, but still...
-Next Season-
"Oh my god Jon!  I'm prego!  That witch lied!" -Dany exclaims gleefully.
"Oh my god, Dany, you're my aunt!" Jon cries and throws up.

I'm surprised that Sansa had some assistance in uncovering Little Finger as the traitor.  Only took the entire season.  Could Bran not have told her from the get-go?  Also, with Bran, how did he not realize that Jon Snow was not a bastard?  I mean, since he "sees all" why is it that when Sam told him about the annulment Bran was like, "No way let me check!" and then saw the vision?  Side note:  Isn't Sansa just as wrong for lying to the council at the Eyrie?  And is Arya going to take Little Finger's face?

The whole fist fight scene involving Theon and that Greyjoy guy (sorry don't know his name) was ridiculous.  How on earth did Theon wail on the Greyjoy guy with like 3 punches and kill him, but the Greyjoy guy, who hit like a Mack truck, didn't kill Theon?  (Oh, duh, plot convenience for Theon to regrow his balls).

Cersei had me going with how easy she "accepted" the truce.  I thought that something was off lol.  I'm surprised that she didn't kill Jaime because I thought he was as good as dead.  At least now he finally realizes how insane she is and how she reneges on her word.  Maybe this time he will never go back to her.

The reunion between the Hound and the Mountain was kinda emotional for the fact that the Hound saw the type of monster his brother became.  I did enjoy the other reunions, too.  I think the Hound and Brienne was my favorite.

Now I'm sure Tormund and Beric survived... and I'm also going to assume Bran conveniently "switched off" his sight just before the dragon attacked.

About this comment. It was more likely than not that it was plot convenience, but I've seen guys that could throw hands made of lead. Some of those guys though had glass jaws and would go down easier than I thought. And headbutts are no joke lmfao. Punches while on top of someone can cause a fuck ton of damage. A lot of people don't understand, not saying you specifically, that any fist fight can end in death with just one hit to the head. Roy Nelson for example lol. Dude isn't a tremendous fighter, but his ability to knock people out is good. Even better? His chin is made of fucking titanium.

Good point. My prediction: I think someway, somehow, Cersei will become the night queen ?

Damn, what an episode.. the acting and reunions were superb .. i loved Cersei even more in this episode , until she went back to her bitch mode on Jaime and her dirty secret plans.. i cannot believe they killed Littlefinger off ! i mean, his role was pretty much done and they fucking ruined him, but still he was one of my favorite characters.. RIP Petyr, i cant believe i will not hear your amazing deep sexy voice again :( MORE INCEST SEX ! i expected more than they showed tbh .. at least some tiddies.. i`m not complaining anyway:D  but hey, why would Rhaegar name two of his sons " Aegon" ? well, i think they will have to elaborate more on this point in Season 8 .. THAT FUCKING ENDING THOUGH ! ? i mean..i kinda saw it coming but damn that shit as terrifying.. Zombie Viserion was much faster than his brothers .. and damn look at those beautiful blue flames ? guys , SHIT JUST GOT REAL ! i cant believe we will have to wait until 2019.. fuck ?

Yeah, I get it.  But Theon is lanky compared to the other guy.  I was told that Theon had a rock in his hand when he wailed on the guy.  Is this true?  I never saw Theon pick up a rock?  His hands were always positioned so strangely in every shot to begin with.

Binge watched Season 1-6 at the beginning of this month, and finished S7 too, gonna be hard to wait for S8 to come out. I liked the last episode, but it wasn't outstanding like some of the rest have been. The scene with Mountain/Jaime scared the shit out of me, legit thought he was gone. Hopefully, they end the show well with S8.

So happy Littlefinger is finally dead

:yay::yay::awesome:

Holy fucking shit. What an epic finale

Oh no cleganebowl ?

Little finger is finally dead. I literally yelled out "kill him" at the TV ? I agree with some of the other posts. Couldn't you speak up sooner bran

I bought Ueron's departure so it was a massive shock to find out it was all part of the plan. Did i hear something about fighting elephants?

So Aegon Targaryen. I think he should stick to Jon

Although the love scene was expected it did feel a bit weird knowing that she is his aunt. But she is bloody gorgeous (even better as a brunette) so can you blame him?

Jaime has finally realised that cersei is the mad queen. I though he was a gonner for a second there.  Jaime has really turned into a great character.

Wow Viserion got roided up. Drogon and Rhaegal are gonna have a tough time fighting him. Season 8 starts with bran opening his eyes to what he just saw.

Although its gonna be a long wait it is going to be well worth it. Some of these episode are close to movie length and quality so for them to give us all that in 1 year was fantastic by itself.

I don't think lanky has much to do with it. Some lanky people, like my brother, have some bony ass hands so when they hit it literally feels like being hit with a sharp rock. Hurts a lot more than being hit by a meaty fist I'll tell you that much lmfao.

I didn't see Theon pick up a rock though. :dunno: If I catch a rerun I'll look closer.

Running out of source material was probably one of the causes for that. But for what the later seasons lack in story it definitely makes up for with action.

I think they need to kill off an important character for the finale. Some of the characters are starting to feel invincible. I've lost count of the amount of times Jon has almost died. the fear factor is fading. When he fell into the frozen water all i though was nah he'll be alright.

Yeah. How many times are main characters going to be ALMOST killed? The show runners are afraid of the internet. Tense moments mean nothing anymore. Daenerys and Varys, Daenerys and Tyrion, Arya and Sansa, Cercei and Tryrion, Cercei and Jaime.. You knew Tormund would be fine because people are waiting for him to romance brienne... Jon I don't know how many times.. We all know he's got legendary plot armor... And we know the show has lost it's balls so whenever they are in "danger" it just feels cheap. Like they are living off the show's season 1 to 5 greatness. Over and over. They've all had practically the same scene where they make you think someone is getting killed, but they can't pull the trigger. (They did the same thing with Cercei,  Tyrion and Jaime in the same episode! lol)

They've turned Arya into a comic book character.

Westeros has shrunk to the size of california by the way everyone gets around so fast now.

The showrunners just can't nearly match the level of writing from GRRM and it seems like he's just not involved anymore at all.

Too many jokes and one liners and characters acting cool feels forced.

I hope the final book comes out before the final season so I can finish the real story and not care anymore about what happens on the show.

I used to hope there would be 10 or 12 seasons of the show but now I just want it to be over before the cringe becomes too much.

It's like they changed the show's target demographic from 30 somethings to teenagers and college students.

Remember when it was imposible to say which show was better between GoT and breaking Bad? (seasons 1-5)

lol Compare breaking bad or other top show to GoT now...(seasons 6-7)

I get being dissatisfied with the show but Season 5 was an abomination and is worse than 6/7 combined.

You may be right.

It has been 2 years or more since.

I think that's when GRRM handed the story over to HBO and the show split from the books.

Either way, deviating so much from the original source material was a great mistake in my opinion.

I liked the finale as much as any other episode this season, which isn't as good as past seasons. The story suffered at times but the ending was great for finally getting things moving.

I didn't see the episode until this morning, and I almost got spoiled... I saw a headline on Gamespot that said something like "Another Major Character is Killed in GOT" but thankfully I didn't see who it was.

It was nice to see Jaime finally make a stand, as well as Theon. The "kick in the balls, try again" part was great. It's about time Littlefinger bit the dust, what a little turd. He reaped what he sowed.

I didn't see anybody else mention it yet, but I spotted Thoros standing in the Night King's army at the wall. I wonder if any other known characters are there too.
