Help me pick a router...

Slower day at work this afternoon, so I'm looking at wireless routers for my new place.  I had landed on this one...

I like TP-Link and this seems to be reviewing well.  But it came to my attention that my PS3 probably uses older technology and might not be compatible with this router's "802.11ac" support.  I don't think AC is backwards compatible with older iterations of 802.11 lettering schemes beyond 802.11n.  I don't think the PS3 can work on either AC or N.

Admittedly, I'm a complete "noob" when it comes to this fancy-pants network-y stuff.  I can follow along well enough to narrowly avoid making bad purchases... but I still struggle to find the good purchases.

My question to you, for anyone more knowledgeable than myself, is what router would you recommend as both quality and something that supports all flavors of 802.11ac/n/b/g/whatever?  Preferably... let's say ~$100 is the budget.

Honestly I don't know too much about routers myself, but I recently got a new one (it was actually from my TV service, Dish) & I haven't had any problems with it with any of my devices (PS3, PS4, Vita, tablet, etc.). I believe I paid around $50-$60 for it earlier this year: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LWVR6Y4?m=A3I2MCN4M525Y9&ref_=v_sp_widget_detail_page

There's probably a newer model out by now though, so you might want to look into those.
