In past Dead or Alive games, Hitomi found Hayate who is suffering from amnesia and Hitomi decided to take care of him and calls him Ein. Eventually, Hayate regains his memories and Hitomi begs him to stay with her, but Hayate said he cannot stay with her because he is no longer Ein (Correct me if I'm wrong since I haven't and never will play the DOA series). So could Hitomi be Hayate's possible love interest even though he doesn't know that Hitomi secretly loves him? Hayate always acted differently towards Hitomi, I don't know if it's because he loves her, but there's definitely something going on between the two of them.
