I hate me
You stand by me
When I hurt you
Even though it costs you
Fuck it
You sold me
Into the fire I go
I step out 
Out, out into the inferno
Where my soul went
I don't know
I suffer yet another blow
This pain
It's endless
Unbearable
I falter amongst the lull
The whisper in the trees
It speaks of things to please
This darkness
You feel that?
You feel the love 
Inside that?
Rip me
Tear me
Ravage me
Sacrifice me
Do it all one more time
I cannot continue the climb
Into the fire I fall
Your name I cannot call

The darkness encroaching

My spirit broken

Your words

Softspoken

Heartbroken

Within the light of love

All from up above

To down below 

I will not begrudge

The hate 

And the cacophany of smugness

Villainy and 

Cruelty

This is below me 

With outstretched arms you threw me

My heart on a sleeve 

I plead with thee

Please hear my sad melody

With tears and cries

I scream and try

To move the gods from their thrones

In the sky

Don't you know

The grass only grows

With tenderness and care

And love and I cannot know

But for sure you do

I went to the ends of the earth for you

But here I stew in my agony

My love and hate

Spite and fright

Anger and pity

For the love of you

The might of a city

Is not enough
