To be fair, the final boss does look pretty freaky for a game that, depending on your playthrough, was filled with goofy and funny characters all throughout. And if you do the genocide playthrough you see some pretty messed up stuff later on.

 

Edit: Nevermind, he was talking about a different game. Still, pixel horror can be a thing.

Yeah. Especially in the later phases, Giygas was pretty damn disturbing when I first played the game.

Just talk to Papyrus in Snowdin Town after fighting him, simple.

 

Just make sure you don't kill him ofc.
