Rubieno
Hey guys, I've been searching the internet for an answer at this question, but none of the answers are helping me out... My problem: When i plug my PS3 controller into my ps3, it charges! But when i try to push the ps button it isn't turning on Also... on yahoo answers and other sites, everyone is saying try to reset the controller! This isn't working either. Any suggestions? Or should I buy a new one? Rubieno
A12
If you have a second controller, switch batteries. If it work's, the battery is dead. There could also be something under the pad preventing contact between the .
Beyondthegrave07
How old is the controller? and how much do you charge it? If it's an older controller its probably the battery. I'd suggest to do what A12621A posted

But the bad one isnt working with the good one's..... It must be a problem with the ps button... Any ideas?

Artemisthemp
Sound like the Problem I had long ago. How I fix it 1. Remove all screws from the controller (so you can remove the back) 2. Unplug the Battery 3. Plug the battery back in If It don't work... Well Battery is dead.
