I did not use any skips/cheats, but used the restart method every time I died

how easy is the speedrun trophies to get first time and can you do them on an easy difficulty. I played the first game on PS3 but I haven't played 2 or 3 yet, so I am planning on doing the speedruns first then replaying and having a casual enjoy the game playthough on the hardest difficulty, yes I know that sounds silly ? saves me doing like 4 playthroughs though.

I did 3 Playthroughs, 1st on Crushing and enjoying the experience, 2nd on Hardcore + Clearing rest, 3rd Speedrun on Explorer or Easy, not sure anymore. But at that time, you should know the game good enough to breeze through it easy.

Thanks a lot, that was what I was looking at but its such a pain having to do 3-4 playthroughs. Is it possible to do the hardest difficulty straight away or do you have to unlock it by completing the game on another difficulty first? kind of how the Last of Us works. I would love to cut it down to 2 playthroughs if possible

I think it is possible to Play hardcore right away, but dont Count me on that now. But I would recommend to Play it 3 times. Except you have played it before on PS3 or with an different account. Hardcore is not really difficult but it can be really annoying at some Points in the game.

yeah I played the first Uncharted on PS3 but stayed away from 2 and 3 because of all the online trophies but they released it on PS4 without the online stuff so I thought I would buy them and finish off the series. Thanks for the help.

Restart checkpoints didn't work for me, the time doesn't reset. Anyone knows why?

EDIT: Nevermind, i just installed the patches and problem solved.

My Speedrun was under 3h and I skipped the scene, getting the rope at The Monastery (Ch 22) it saved about a minute. Also the trap skip at Chapter 9 where you fall down but I did the Journal glitch and jumped over it  So here are my times:

With the restarting checkpoint ability this trophy is almost impossible to not get, especially on easy. The times posted here were a good way to see what your target time should be. Here are my times with no glitches.
