Episode 1: Awake impressions? (Possible spoilers)

8 posts in this topic

So last night me and my sister played Episode 1 and we ended up loving it even more than the original game. Chloe is a great main character (which is a big surprise for me) and we finally meet Rachel! We are so looking forward to Episode 2.

So what was your impressions of Episode 1?

There is too much water compared to the original in my opinion. Not a lot has happend in Ep1. The OST also is not that memorable for some reason. But everything else is gold, especially for a side-developer. They managed to capture that LiS spirit perfectly I feel (attention to details in environments, art-style, chars, diary, this similar type of collectibles).

The music is right on up there with the original. I'm hoping for another cd to be in the physical limited release.

I didn't wanna rush it so I haven't finished yet but I'm liking it so far. Still don't like David.

The backtalk challenges are kinda funny. I guess it's supposed to be a unique feature similar to Max's rewind power, and the game still works without the supernatural stuff.

I really liked episode 1. Chloe is an awesome main character.

And even without Max time travel powers it feels like Life is Strange.

Can't wait for episode 2.
