"Toilet Paper Over" menu option

... So, I bought the game yesterday when it released on the Switch, and discovered a weird option in the menu.

 

In the Video options menu, you can turn on a "toilet paper over" option.

 

I decided to check out online what this meant, and apparently there was a bit of a backdraft when Ron Gilbert showed an image of a toilet in the game, and the toilet paper roll was set up "wrong".

 

 

In the end, evidently, they decided to put in an option to have the roll be "over" instead of "under", and this is the only thing the setting does.

 

 

 

 

For those who never played previous games like Maniac Mansion or Monkey Island, there's also an option to remove the in-jokes to the older games.
