Gravity Rush 2 launched for PlayStation 4 on January 18 in Europe, January 19 in Japan, and January 20 in the Americas and United Kingdom. Guess I'll have to collect some tokens and get those costume before I just can't forever anymore. I don't think this affects trophies but still. Paying for online, now, I thought this kind of thing would be less of an issue. The prices for PS Plus are going up, yet multiplayer games are peer to peer with no dedicated servers and even an exclusive first party PS4 game can't keep it's servers open for a year? Seriously, what is Sony thinking? I thought they would love and cherish their beautiful PS4 but... I was wrong. zeda12123 Posted September 28, 2017 Author Share Posted September 28, 2017 I feel like this is really more of a studio Japan decisions than a sony one, I really don't think ps plus sales or online fees factored into it at all. Like you all said, the game never really needed multiplayer which probably makes it a pain for studio japan to keep up something barely used. It's just a bunch of silly nonsense cluttering up the screen with notifications - there is, as far as I could tell - no reason whatsoever to engage with it (whether you care about trophies or not). I suspect the game will be better without it. (Though I'd caution the folks saying that they were planning to play it as they liked the first one - Tread carefully. That's why I played it, and it is a dramatic step down in fun from the first game, which I considered one of the great games of the vita and a heck of a good PS4 remaster.)
