Lol, nice one. I always enjoy a bit of a comedy song. I think you need to change " haunt " to " taunt "  though. ?

I have noticed you also like to write the occasional limerick in those threads people start trying to find boosting partners for games (instead of using gaming sessions). I do very much enjoy them. Perhaps one day we will have to collaborate on something, perhaps a line for line arrangement. ☺️

Just got the Ultimate Strike trophy while trying to find my way in the Casino. 

The Casino turned out to be quite the nightmare for me. I've spent at least a good hour trying to find the second panel in the Staff Passageway part of the map, running around, hugging every corner and trying to climb everything that looked remotely climbable. Until I gave up and just looked for the answer online and guess what? The second panel is right next to the Slots door, in plain view for everyone to see!

Then I went to find my way in the dark and I died twice, because Joker got enraged by an enemy and decided to attack another one that repelled physical damage. I didn't even understand what happened the other time but Joker was inflicted by Fear and died the next round. 

After clearing the dark part and encountering another blocked path, I totally overlooked the open vent right next to my feet and decided to go back in the dark to try to find another way because why not. 

Either I'm not very awake today or I'm just plain stupid. 

Anyway, I've managed to secure a route to the Treasure, even if it took me forever to find my way. 

 

My social stats are all maxed out, except for Guts (might need just a liiitle push) and I've been courting the doc in the hope of being able to establish a relationship with her. I've already refused Ann, I hope I was not mistaken.

I've been playing Persona 3 FES to mentally prepare me for this game. Hopefully, I'll have it beat by November. I have the last week of November off, so I may pick up Persona 5 then. I saw @Terra completed it in 4 months, so this one might take some time!

I think it's safe to say you'll need at least 100hrs to platinum the game. It personally took me 146hrs, but i did go about it a bit slow.

My total time was 131.28 hours. I went slow and enjoyed the story and I don't regret it. It beat out my Persona 4: Golden playtime though

Granted, I'm going to do a blind playthrough first. Though, I will keep in mind what gets brought over into the second playthrough on that first run. 

 

Therefore, I'm expecting it to take 140 hours to platinum. I do have some experience with Persona games, so it's not like I don't know what I'm doing.

I spent 125 hours in my first playthrough and have yet to start my second playthrough for the plat . I just wanted to take it slow to make sure I didn't miss anything . Also, the fact that I played the game on  Hard for the majority of my playthrough, might play a role in the time being 125 hours too .

 

@Beyondthegrave07 What difficulty are you playing FES on? And did you already play other Persona games before? The difference in difficulty in the Persona games is quite high so even if you're able to play the other games on Normal without too many problems, Hard might still be a bit too hard for a first playthrough. I thought Hard wouldn't be that hard to get through because Normal in P4G was pretty easy for me but man, I was wrong . Hard really is noticalby harder than Normal .

Over 60h for me and I've yet to complete my first playthrough. Time is really flying by when you play this game.

I've played it on normal and easy mode. I plan on playing on Normal so that it's not too easy, but I'm not dying a bunch either. I've played Persona Q, which has elements of the games, but it doesn't play the same. Haha.

 

That being said, I might do a 3rd playthrough on hard after I get the plat.

Hmm, yeah, I guess Normal mode would be the best difficulty to start you first playthrough in P5 on as well. I actually haven't played Persona Q because I unforunately don't have a 3DS. I'd still be interested in playing it one day though.

It's pretty good. It's more of a dungeon crawler puzzle game and doesn't have the social links, but how personas work, the skills, and other things like all-out attacks, knock down, and fighting the Velvet room attendants all still exist. It's a great game for some good laughs and serious dungeon crawling.

Nice, congrats  . IIRC there was an enemy who could kill everyone that's inflicted with Fear in the Casino.

 

You did the right thing to refuse Ann, I don't get why she has the Lovers arcana. Half the time she seems to be flirting with Ryuji and they're usually shown together.

That's exactly what I thought. Ann is perfect for Ryuji! And I don't really like Makoto, she didn't leave a good first impression, I didn't even want her to join the team, Haru is not really interesting, Futaba is too young (yes, yes, we know your opinion on that @Satoshi Ookami, king of the lolikon). There's not that many choices left. I wonder who I'll choose on my second playthrough..
