Friends list problem

My PS VITA is glitching out on my friends list app. It won't show any online friends when I have it set to sort by Online Status, but will when it's set to sort by username. How do I fix this? I've already closed out of the app and reopened it, signed out and shut down my VITA but none of that has worked.

Have you tried to reset the Vita? It solves quite a few problems,

I already tried that, as stated above. It didn't do anything.

You don't state that above, you said you "closed out of the app and reopened it, signed out and shut down my VITA but none of that has worked." which is not resetting the Vita. If it continues behaving weirdly, and reset doesn't work, only option is to backup eveything, restore to factory defaults, see if it works and reinstall all games and saves. VIta USB is slow as hell, this takes a while using a PC.

I misunderstood. Well, it's not necessary as it is working properly again. Thanks, though.
