Matchmaker Guide in trophies error?

Okay, so I'm going for the Matchmaker trophy in my second run, and according to the guide on here, it says that Jaal and Liam would be fine with open relationships, but every other guide I looked at does not seem to concur with this. Are they exclusive? I have been flirting with both and have them both at the end of their romance chains, should I just make multiple saves, quickly knock out one then continue in the other and finish it out? Would that work for the trophy? Thank you, any help is appreciated.

It tracks across multiple saves so do that. The casual relationships just don't work as they should for this trophy. I saw the romance scene with jaal and went for casual relationships with Liam, peebee, reyes and the reporter asari I can't remember the name of. I only got the trophy when I loaded an older save and romanced Liam until the jetpack scene so only 1 of the 4 casual relationships counted.

Okay, so I have a save right before seeing Liam on Eos. The gameplan is go down, see that, do this jet pack thing and that concludes Liam. Then on the main save, ignore Liam and go after Jaal and finish it up. I hate how Bioware puts this stupid stuff in their games.

I went with Cora, Avela and Keri and had no troubles. (Had Peebee on reserve just in case)

I can't start the casual relationship with the Asari reporter. I got the e-mail, but can't acknowledge it. 

 

I've finished the game and went with Pee Bee and Avela. Maybe it's glitched, I think I'll have to start another playthrough.
