Classic Difficulty | Walkthrough (Commentated) (COMPLETE!)

This is the beginning of my Classic Difficulty Walkthrough. It's fully commentated and I hope to take you on my journey that was pure torture at moments. Hopefully this guide helps, as I will be giving tips on what to do and what not to do. Mostly do everything better than me lol!

 

*Couple things to keep in mind:

 

1) This is my first official walkthrough for my channel, so I'm a bit nervous during my commentary. Sorry about that

 

2) My right hand was injured by having acid spill on it. My reactions were really slow due to this, so I tend to miss a lot of shots and react to things more slowly than I could when I played Akumu on the original. So that should give you hope as your aiming should be 5 times better than mine

 

3) I panicked and save at the wrong moments a couple times, so I will mention where the best times to save are. But if you follow the guide you should mostly be fine.

 

4) Conserve Ammo and sneak kill as much as you can. You never know when you will run out!

So that's it guys! My first full Commentated Walkthrough for a game. I'm glad it was for this one. Hopefully I was able to give useful tips and help you guys out with this mode.

Cool!  Gonna have to check this out!  On my second play through in NG+ at the moment.  After that's done, I'll be going for classic and my platinum!

I have all the videos edited. Just adding commentary now. My throat can only take so much lol

Been using this as my guide as well.  Up to chapter 5.  Used my second save.  I'll likely re-start.  I saved once in chapter 3, and once right before the guardian.  Knowing the tips and tricks, it's actually not that bad to be honest.  It's mostly head games.  You psych yourself out.  

 

I may keep going anyways though.  I have nearly 300 gunpowder, full ammo on everything, full bolts, and a bunch of herbs and syringes.  I'd push to right before Stefano, then right before Torres.  Then fire walk, then chapter 14 boss.  Final save might be before chapter 11 boss, or final boss.  I find the last three chapters pretty easy though, so I'm not sure which I'll do.

Yea you're ready! It's mind games really. Once you set your mind to it, you can pretty much get it done!

This seems easier or harder or the same as dead space 2 hardcore? What do you think?

This is way easier than Dead Space 2 hardcore. There you only get 3 saves. Here you get 7. So yea. Plus many sections here you can avoid. Dead space 2 is much harder imo

Agreed.  Hardcore was ridiculous.  Classic is hard, but once you know the game, it's really not that bad.

That's my first walkthrough for a game so it's special to me. Hopefully it helps and please do leave feedback on how I did and what I can improve for the next walkthrough for a difficult game.

Other than that, all I can say is good luck!

I'll be working on a trophy guide, and hopefully I can get it up on the site by the end of the week!
