theSpirae
Hey guys, I was just wondering when you get a new game, whether it's a physical copy or from PS Store, do you add it to your Library right away? So that all games you have are here on the profile as well.
Bartolomeus
No, I don't. I probably have 10-15 games installed on my PS4 that I haven't started - or activated - yet. No particular reason, I just don't bother do enter the games only to exit them again. I'll save the magic of starting a new game until I'm ready to play it.
mako-heart
I did for a bit, but it got tedious and this month I deleted all 0% games from my profile (it's a PS4 feature).
Evil_Joker88
i did it started a few games and played them 10 minutes or less... in some cases i earned a trophy or two (i.e. Crysis 3, Mirror's Edge) so i stopped from doing it... i don't want to see all games i own in my trophy log and i hide or delete all those games so here on psnp only games with 1 trophy or more earned are shown... Dragon-Archon
Nope, most of my backlog isn't added.
Han_the_Dragon
No, if I had done that, my completionist OCD side would drive me crazy (it's already bad the way it is..). If I had everything add, my completion % would be at around 75-80% at best.. Edited October 20, 2017 by Han_the_Dragon
skateak
Nope. Around half my backlog is not loaded. Probably a little more than that actually. I have 422 games just on my PS4 and maybe 40-50 are demos and betas. 2 minutes ago, Han_the_Dragon said: No, if I had done that, my completionist OCD side would drive me crazy (it's already bad the way it is..). If you add a bunch of 0% games, nothing happens to your completion rate, I am pretty sure. Edited October 20, 2017 by skateak
Undead Wolf
Nope. I only like seeing games on my profile that I've actually played, not ones that I might play months/years down the line. It looks nicer that way. Besides, I get most of my games physically, so it's not like I'm ever gonna forget I own them or something.
Meacham
Nah. I just play whatever comes up on my list and won't really move on until it's completed. Even if the games new or not.

So, I guess my answer is no, although I voted yes above.
Lightin_August
Yes but only because I have weak resistance when it comes to starting new games. Even if I'm in the middle of something else I'll drop it in favour of something I just picked up. That being said I rarely buy games I'm not sure about, so anything I start doesn't stay at 0% for long.
NetEntity
No. My backlog is giant, and I really don't want to fill the profile with 0% lists. Prefer to keep it focused and add no more than 1-2 at a time.
Lance_87
For PS3 physical games yes, i try them and then uninstall everything except updates if they're small. For PS3 digital games my HDD is full so i don't try the newest purchases because i should remove something and i'm too lazy lol, i just made a spreadsheet with every single game i own and all uninstalled/unused games are in a different color. For Vita games i simply install everything, try them, then copy the data to my PC using Content Manager Assistant and to a folder and my external HDD, ready for future use. Elk_mistral
i download em all since i have 6 TB hdd, but i dont start em for keep the trophy for later. Edited October 20, 2017 by Elk_mistral change
Obscure_Ale
I don't start them I usually just pop the disc in or install the digital copy so I can play them when I feel like it (Good job they added external HDD support) as there is nothing worse than keeping a game on your shelf then deciding to play it only to see a 20GB patch is required. I do the same thing, although I misread the question and thought he meant codes for games and downloading rather than loading up a game to see it on a trophy list. Baelathas
No, I did that once on an old Xbox account and afterwards it just felt like a big waste of time. I only add a game to my profile when I go to play it, even if it only ends up being for a few minutes sometimes.
Arctic Cress
I only add games to my profile/library when I'm ready to play them, though I keep a record of all games I own so I don't forget about some of them.
Elvick_
Sometimes that happens, FFIX, started it up so it's on my list but decided not to really start playing it yet for example. but usually I don't do that. Especially for retail since I don't have space for that.
madbuk
I load up every game I intend to play at some point on my list, just so it's easy to track my backlog. All the games from PS+ I have no interest in whatsoever don't get added, though.
tpepper1985
Nope ... I must have 30 games installed on my 2TB HHD that I have not yet started. I *try* to only start games that I intend to finish, doesn't always work out that way but that is the intention at least!
DizzyDavidson
I don’t usually add games to my profile until I’m ready to play them. I do download the ps+ games right away but that’s a different story. Actually, lately I’ve been thinking to add all my games but then I’d have like 75-100 0% on my profile and I don’t know if I’m ready to handle that. If you add a bunch of 0% games, nothing happens to your completion rate, I am pretty sure. While that's true, it also adds to the unearned trophy count on the trophy advisor (I need to keep that under 1000, and ya, I'm failing that for a couple of months now..). And I don't like to have F's on my list.. when I have them there is just a reminder for myself that I need to start the game SOON.. Then there's also the average trophy rarity that I want under 35% (also failing for a while now..) All those things that I'm failing now is because I'm playing quicker/easier games lately (as well as not Platinum/100% them..) because I'm rushing my way to 10k trophies to earn my Deus Ex Mankind Divided (it will be that milestone).. after I hit that milestone, I will start to clean up the mess that is my profile right now.. Ya, I'm a complicated guy about this kind of stuff
Kaiten_the_Hero
I have everything installed, besides games that require a second playthrough - I want to get through the games in my Backlog first and then go back.
AndresLionheart
Oops, I answered too quickly. I thought it was about playing on alternate accounts. No, I think I only have like 1/5 of my PS3/PS4/Vita games on my profile. I tend to buy lots of games that I see on sale (50% off or more) and then never play them.
