Yeah.  I believe he meant the Saudi Arabian store.  A great deal of games are blocked there.
The latest Assassin's Creed is not even there!  Because of that, I made other accounts for different stores to buy those games from.

Sony needs stop all these 1 h or 2 h plats. including all 1h or 2 h jap plats. i AM really getting sick and i want to puke when i see these profiles filled with these shitty games, i am not impressed with those platinums at all. My opinion :) it is better having quality over quantity!

Hey,

Jazzpunk is available in the eu store or am i wrong!?

Nice! My Name is Mayo...;)

here in the middle eastern area the standard PSN Store we are using is the European region store, if you purchase a PSN wallet recharger card something or a Playstation Plus card that have the flag of the country you're in in the middle east it's all lead to the EU's part of the store, and dear god it very lacking in content compared to the US store.

if I plan to purchase a physical copy of a game i'll first start searching for a US copy of it not because to avoid the censoring that is well known on EU versions, but because of the DLC's, the version of World of Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy XV I have were the EU region, the chocobo and mogole festival is not available in the EU version of FFXV, the limited time Sora and the free character Balthier "if I texted his name right" free DLC is not available here at all even though the digital full version of both games exists on the store.

Well, I kind of love the trophy hunter mentality here. Celebrate when an effortless and easy platinum game is coming to your region, but make a petition and promote it when a game gets a difficult trophy added to it (Wolfenstein II).

Why do people do this? There are many, many people in the world of gaming. Some of them say might one thing, and some might say the other. Neither group has the last say on "trophy hunter mentality" (whatever that is). But via some marvel of (motivated) reasoning, you claim that both of them do.

In particular, the intersection of the posters in this thread with the "mein leben petition" thread is relatively small. Further, one member of that intersection (me) didn't comment positively for the petition there, and didn't comment positively for the EU release here.

The fact of the matter is, this thread has plenty of people celebrating that this simple and effortless game is coming to their store. Then there's a petition to change a trophy requirement for a difficult trophy that now has 492 people who have signed it. My comment was rather pointing out the fact that a lot of trophy hunters are simply looking for easy games to do that take no effort and when the game finally gets that all important vita stack for their region, they express their joy about it but on the other end of the spectrum if people see that a game has a difficult trophy then they'll petition to get the requirements changed. I can't see who has signed that petition for Mein Leben, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the signatures come from people who have done My Name is Mayo and other known easy trophy games. I hardly ever see people celebrating the release of a difficult game, but when this game comes out they celebrate it and make a thread expressing their joy. I'm not trying to take away from people or being a hater, I just find it funny how people behave in these scenarios. But I'll say this, you'll see people petition a difficult trophy for a game but you'll never see someone petition that the trophies for a game are too easy.

I mean, I can't argue that people who want easy trophies would not want difficult trophies. That's certainly common sense. But I think there are a lot of trophy hunters who like difficult games, so it seems a little unfair to paint them with the same brush by claiming a unique sort of "trophy hunter mentality".

But anyway, I don't want to be Debbie Downer, so let me say this: I thought you were only joking about "Genital Jousting". <shudder>

Genital Jousting with an easy platinum on PSN would really show the people who define the term "Trophy Whore" considering it basically is a soft-core porn game. I could have said "trophy whore mentality", considering I wouldn't call someone that if they have at least done some games that would risk their completion rate.

It's funny to me that they have an image of Big Ben for an EU release.

because even though the UK is no longer in the EU they will always be used as the forefront of Europe for developers outside of Europe

Yes I own both Mayo plats and I feel no shame for it. Like you pointed out, many people celebrate easy trophies, we can’t be further from the truth. I’m glad that I’m up to challenges just like many of my Platinums. I have a collection of both difficult and easy plats. I’d appreciate a challenging trophy over an easy one and my proudest plats are difficult ones.

For the case of Wolfenstein II, from what I’ve seen, it’s pretty much inhuman the difficulty.

Pretty ironic I must say from your saying, mixing “whore” and “porn” within the same sentence. I’d definitely get it if it comes out on PSN, just for triggering people! :awesome: <3
