I just earned 2 trophies twice on the same account. Has this ever happened to anybody else before?

So, I was working on my backlog (in WWE 2K14) and I got 2 trophies that I have gotten before and looking at my trophy progress for the game, all of the trophies are gone except the 2 trophies I just earned. For reference, I earned my first trophy in the game on 12/24/13 (my 46th trophy) and I earned my latest trophy on 9/25/15 How did this happen and will I get banned for this? Did you delete and re-add your user on PS3? or are you using other PS3 with the game for the 1st time?

 

If that's the case, then just sync your trophies to PSN again and it will fix the trophy data (it will use the older timestamp of the duplicated trophies).

 

Every time you start a game that was already started before adding the PSN account, you need to re-sync the trophies, or the console will assume that there was no early trophy info (even if you actually had sync the trophies before start the game). 

 

Also, sometimes it doesn't just wipe the trophy list, but instead auto-pop a lot of them at game start, but sync the profile to PSN revert the timestamps to the original date, making everything fine again (I kind of freaked out when that happened me for the 1st time with Tekken 6..)

Are you using a different PS3? 

 

Let's say you played the game 2 years ago on PS3 A and earned 20 trophies. Then 2 years later you have a second PS3 (PS3 B ) and you start playing the game again. The trophies will unlock like normal until you sync the game. 

 

So you re earn a trophy on PS3 B and then sync...all the trophies from PS3 A will come back and will have the original time stamps. That trophy you re-earned will also have the original time stamp as before and you can go back to earning new trophies.

 

I went through that again while playing Okabu as I earned 2 trophies on my first Ps3 and since I am playing on a new PS3 I "earned" them again but if you look at my first trophy it still says 2012 on it

I am playing on a new PS3. I just synced my trophy info on PSN and it looks like everything is fine now, thank you both for the help.

A similar thing happened to me once while playing The Guided Fate Paradox, but it didn't effect my account at all. None of my other trophies for the game disappeared, the date I earned the trophy didn't change either.

It happened to me, I don't remember if it were when I bought a Vita or a new PS3 when the trophies for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker started popping one after another, but after I synced from my new console/handheld, my trophies were back to normal in my device.
