Future Tone is a 2 hour plat, that would have been a nice way to start the comp, as a side note the game is amazing on the PS4 Pro, the enhancement was worth the money.
 

 

That's what I was thinking, would have been nice to start with that, & to get the platinum out of the way so I can just enjoy the game  I really want to have a dig at the different versions of some of my favourites as well!

I like your game selections I think we might have some "gaming" in common. Haven't spent much time on Mahou Daisakusen yet and don't know Diadra, will have to check it out. Taiko is great, I had no idea just how loud hitting that drum controller is though. Can lead to some hilarious moments when you have had a few and decide to have a go around midnight ☺️

 

In this case I got that stuff at AmiAmi, I also use Play Asia once in a while as well as Amazon Japan & Japanese sellers on the Amazon US marketplace. It's my fault I didn't get the delivery, last time I left a note saying I would be at work and that they had my permission to leave the pack. They actually did it that time so I should have just left a note again. 

 

Yeah I saw you've got some good picks as well, not to mention that Diva X platinum I still need to do. Are you planning on doing Diva F 2nd one day? I really loved that one it's got some nice songs and fun patterns. The random elements of the diva room can be a bit of a bugger though.

 

Saw you had Mahou too, I just got that done. 70% last night over a few hours and the other 30% this morning. I wasn't efficient due to having to work out what some of the trophies wanted me to do. If I did it fresh on another profile I reckon 4-6 hours max, possibly less. If you do have a dig at it & need specific information on any of the trophies I'll be around & can help with that.

 

Oh also the first night we played Taiko until quite late, asked the neighbours if they heard anything the day after and apparently they did but no dramas with that. Makes me laugh now when I see that 'please be considerate of your neighbours' screen. I didn't mod the controller so it does need to be hit with enthusiasm hehe.

Sounds like a pretty good plan to me, I would say that's a smarter way of going about it than the stuff I picked haha. I did think about the bonus points for the different types of trophies in the different months and figured the gold month would be a good time to unseal Firewatch & make sure it works (saw someone had a faulty disc & it's got me wanting to check mine) that's about as far as I've thought about it though. I'm trying to play as I would naturally, just 15% harder.

Yep, the Hatsune games are great fun. Picked up Diva f 2 other day but will just be slowly chipping away over it and Diva f. I am sure you will enjoy Diva X, the grind is a bit long but mostly enjoyable. The hardest thing for me was definitely that Extreme Lvl 10 Event song. I literally had the controller on a flat surface and was playing it with two hands like a piano. Looked like a possessed Demon mashing button machine.  The RSI in that game gets real if you are over 30 ☺️

I had a productive boosting afternoon yesterday & got online trophies out of the way for Gti Club +, Outrun Online, Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection as well as some but not all the online for Street Fighter III 3rd strike & Ikki Online. It's kind of crazy all those games still have that functionality even when a couple of them are delisted. I've got a lot more of this sort of stuff to do, if I can get it done it should offset the handicap. I'll have to look it up but I might need at least a 3rd person to do Ikki, bit of a shame since it's 400% unpopular & kind of a grind, good bloody luck with that I suppose. I almost want to throw up a boosting session on the front page & see what happens.

 

Also tried Diadra Empty & there's nothing empty about this game it's a sensory overload & was a bit confusing for sure. I got owned by the level 5 boss who occupied most of the screen & I couldn't figure out how to dodge a lot of it, became demoralised & it all went downhill from there. Game is very 'doujin' but there's something about it that's cool. The music is really different for this type of game and the whole package is pretty atmospheric. Most of the trophies look a bit tricky, dunno what I can earn in this but I always pick up shmups so no harm done either way.

Nice going on F 2nd, I've seen people claim to have gotten it done fast but it took me about 80 or 90 hours, mostly due to diva room neglect & the langauge barrier for the version I picked up. My barrier with Diva X is that aside from Ai Dee, Love Song and that medley with ura-omote lovers I'm not as fond of the songs. That could change with a few of them but it helps a lot if I can enjoy the songs enough or at least get them stuck in my head. If I want to get it done I'll probably just have to do small bits regularly as well.

 

I'm with you on the RSI thing, I'm getting on a bit & feeling it for sure. I copped it recently in Dead Space after shaking off too many tiny parastic enemies & playing through half the game in one sitting. I had to take a break from all games for a few days. A few months ago I thought to at least complete the campaign in God of War and found that really unpleasant as well due to having to mash the button to finish off enemies & I really think that sort of thing should be removed from games entirely, it's unecessary & I can't think of any good argument in favour of it or even contemplate someone appreciating this 'feature'. Also that PS3 controller is just pain in general!!! In saying that I really don't mind enduring a bit of pain for Miku

 

I've always been lucky with neighbours, when I was 18 & home recording some nasty sounding music the lady next door said she thought someone was dying/being attacked but then remembered what sort of music I listen to & realised everything was fine, thought that was amusing etc. The current one is interstate a lot which works out well & I don't have so much abraisive music in the playlist as much these days, relative as that may be.

So a slight hijack of the thread but can we please organise a race night, we have quite a few racing specialists in this group so I think it is about time we organised a couple of races to pit skills against each other, have some laughs and showcase my driveclub strategy in full effect. I assume our current poison is GT, So with holidays descending on us all let's organise a date

This is an excellent suggestion - if @Warlord99956 will ever play the game again ?. 

1 question though, can we play GT sport with custom lobbies given it is region locked? Well at least for the daily races it is region locked. I haven't tried yet with someone from EU or US. 

 

If we want to do it early, this Saturday anytime works for me (wife and daughter away for the weekend ?) otherwise maybe we have to wait until after Xmas when everyone may be free?

Yes, anyone can join a custom lobby. You need to search by “friends” with region set to “any” to find it. When we tried it there wasn’t a way to invite other but that might have been added in one of the patches

So picked the game up Friday arvo and put far too many hours into it over the weekend. I'm loving it but I feel like I'm being inefficient because I have come in blind to how to play it correctly, that said I think it's such a good way to play this game. Definitely at least one more play through fully to plat but worth it with this game, I just finished the third palace and the story is very anime but I've been digging it and I unlocked some broken items recently which has made combat way easier.

 

Overall would definitely recommend Persona 5

You say it like they won't look upon my credentials favourably when I apply for the GT Academy by listing the platinum in Beach Buggy Racing as one of my achievements

 

Thanks for the offer mate, I knew that I should've bought the game and controller bundle during Black Friday sales! I don't have any plans to get the game prior to the new year but if you guys organise something that runs into next year then I may jump in.
