About 17 years or so. My first game was either Crash 2, Spyro, or Tomb Raider II, can't remember exactly.

Basically, yes. Started with Sonic the Hedgehog on my Sega Master System back in 1991.

I started in '96 when I got the original gameboy with Pokémon Red. Can't believe it's been 22 years since then...

I remember playing my dad's GameBoy when I was a little kid (like, really little, we're talking earliest childhood memories here). I can't remember if it was before we moved country or not, but I think it might have been just after, which would make it 1990 or maybe even 1991.

So yeah, since then.

The earliest game I can definitely remember playing was Rogue in 1986 after my family got our first computer. I had played games before that like Centipede and Frogger at pizza places, etc., but don't remember when exactly that was.

9 years old, when I got my PS2. First games I had were Spider-Man, EyeToy: Play, GTA Vice City and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. An interesting line-up, to be sure.

More of us oldies here than I thought ^_^ Started in '95 when my mum randomly picked me up a Sega Master System(Yeah i know :P) and some games from a local market. Got the SNES the same year and ended up getting a PS1 a couple years later, whenever FF7 was released.

Same, Master System sometime around '94-'95 then moved through Mega Drive, PS1, PS2, 360, PS3, PS4. I was never a Nintendo gamer and never will be.

$hit, since I can remember...my parents had a black and white pong game that I remember playing...my dad also had a bunch of orange and black dos games...digger was one of them...i had the nes upon release with mario bros and a turbo grafix 16 with bonk's adventures...my memory is kind of hazy as I had a pretty $hitty childhood so timeline is a blur...abusive household; intentionally blocked out...

basically, i can't remember not playing video games...same can be said for drawing pictures, playing music, and doing sports...

First video game I played was an archade cabinet of metal slug at a local bowling alley, use to play it every Saturday for 25 cents.  Then the following Christmas I got an N64 and Diddy Kong racing was the first console game I ever played.  So that was probably around 1999 when I started gaming

My father's Nintendo when I was 5, 26 years ago. Motor City Patrol was my favorite. I'd spend hours on it, though I never did manage to get out of the first city area.

I wanna say since I was four.  I got a SNES for Christmas and started out with Super Mario World.  That game seemed so huge back then.  Then again, is also coming from someone that thought Majora's Mask was incredibly hard as a kid. :|
