GT League (coming December 2017)

Launching as part of our free December update, we’ll be introducing a brand new single player mode called the “GT League”. Based on the old “GT mode” of previous titles, players can now look forward to racing through a series of cup competitions from beginner to pro levels, and and even partake in endurance races!

That's all we ever wanted, man :D

Good 'ol Sunday Cup. Gonna destroy these mofos with my Dodge SRT Tomahawk VGT Technology 😊

(if they still are without HP limitations)

Seams like the game will start to be worth a bit more now (still just those additions don't justify the full game price for me yet.. but I'm no longer feeling as bad for paying full price for it..)

Said that, I'm really happy that we are getting classic single player content and more variety car wise! (now, where are Deep Forest, Laguna Seca, Tsukuba,Trail Mountain, Tokyo Route 246 and SSR5/11?.. really miss them, specially Deep Forest).

It's so nice to see a real single player mode coming! =D Hope to see some (not ridiculous) DLC trophies released with it as well

So basically, they are releasing Gran  Turismo 5 again, but with better graphics, different cars, less tracks - correct?  I mean, I'm really happy they have added in SP, which I love. I can see the plus side of things is that the servers are available.  Question:  did they keep the daily logon bonus?

So a month after release we get the single player mode everyone was bitching about it not having, why couldn't it be there from the start? The game would've had better ratings and sold more, at least I have a reason to get it now

The promise of a better single player experience, plus the recent sales, finally made me buy this. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I hope they don't fix the xp glitch. The grind is unreal. I'll only play the new offline content if there's trophies.

It's fixed 😩 When you enter the pit lane backwards the AI takes over and drives through it instead of the game putting you back onto the main straight one lap ahead.

1.06 has been released and the new cars are fantastic.

Both the Cobra and Audi R18 are a blast to drive, but the Cobra is an absolute handful. Gobs of oversteer but it is such a joy to slide around. Both cars sound amazing as well, PD have come a long, long way in the sound department.

I'm not into multiplayer at all so I was all set on skipping GT Sport, now with a single player career I might get it during a good sale.

Does anybody know if this plays well in PSVR? As in, better than the Driveclub VR demo?

Oh well. I just about got all the way to level 48. Thanks for the heads up!

Okay guys - are all of you playing with a controller or is the G29 Thrustmaster (or whatever) wheel a requirement to get anywhere in this game?

*finally!* the game now is more than worth it to own, I hope I get a copy real soon.

should've done this on day one instead of the "Online Only" BS they decided to go with that no one asked for, people already have listed GT Sport on their most disappointing games of 2017 because of this.

A few hours in and I'm happy with my purchase. Looks great, sounds great and the cars handle just like I want them to.

The inherent problems with online only were there the first time I started it up, which was during a period of server maintenance. The game was constantly telling me that I couldn't save, even while playing single player content. Still,  got through that and am enjoying myself.
