Bananas Playtrough Question

For me to get the Bananas trophy does it have to be a continuous run? For example do I have to play from Prologue to chapter 9 without changing the difficulty? Or can I play a couple of chapters on Bananas, change to normal and then later comeback to chapter select and play the other chapters on bananas?

you can switch but you'll have restart your latest chapter (if you switch to normal while in the middle of chapter 5 youll have to restart at the start of chapter 5) you'll notice that completed chapters have little green check marks next to the difficulty once completed.

 

also i beleive this only applies if you're the host, if you join someone in a normal difficulty gameyou should be able to continue where you left off.
