Some of you may remember a few months back I did a giveaway for a copy of Deus Ex Mankind Divided (Deluxe Edition), which @Stevieboy won! This time, in celebration of the launch of the new Expansion, I am giving away... This code will grant you access to both expansions for Destiny 2, as well as the Exotic Weapon Coldheart, and the premium digital content (legendary emote, legendary sword, and Cabal-themed emblem). VeritableLemon Posted December 7, 2017 Share Posted December 7, 2017 I love this giveaway, I was just thinking of getting the expansion but I'm cheap. I personally haven't played in about a month because compared to Destiny Year Three, this game feels pretty bare, but over time I expect the rewards to be better and for tons more content. My favorite part about D1 was strikes; I spent hours upon hours playing in the strike playlist, and when Destiny 2 came out I was sad to see only 5 strikes (which have pretty flimsy rewards once you hit 365 imo). My favorite part about D2 so far would have to be public events - the way they handled them in Destiny 1 was awful, you would just run to a random area and hope for some kind of event to happen and also just hope there were others around to help you out. Thank god for this new way of doing things, using the map to mark where public events will be and a timer showing when they'll start makes it not only easier to join them, but to have others to play with as well. The expansion pass would help me a ton seeing as how I haven't dropped the money for it yet despite owning the game lol. My favorite thing about Destiny 2 was also my favorite thing about Destiny 1. The core gameplay. Even if you stripped away all the loot and progression systems and stuff, it would still be my favorite FPS. Bungie have always been the kings of tight gameplay. That rush when you see a large group of enemies, throw a grenade at the group on the left, jump into the group on the right, shotgun one in the face, melee another, slide towards the knight that's running at you and shotgun it in the face, just in time to watch your grenade go off and destroy the rest. Mmmmm, no better feeling. The only other games to give me that rush were the old Halo's. Bungie are amazing at getting my heart racing. Of course I love the loot and stuff too since loot games are my favorite genre, but the gameplay is just so perfect that the loot gets moved to the back burner lol. For me, the best part is the social side of this game, it's always amazing to meet new players and make new friends by just playing what you like. Thanks for the giveaway and good luck to everyone. They really dropped the ball in Destiny 1, considering there was about 1 hour of cut-scenes in the whole base game, but Destiny 2 shipped with way more/better story.
