Purchaseable coins

8 posts in this topic

I just DL'ed the 2 new pieces of DLC, and noticed that there are a handfull of coins for purchase.
Now, I noticed that 2 of them ARE unlockable in game by playing it, but does anyone know if the others are some sort of unlock bonus??

Attack Coin - Increases your Attack (You do more damage)

Defense Coin - Increases your Defense (You take less damage)

Instinct Coin - Increases your knock back rate (How often your hits stun the enemy)

Ultimate Coin - Combination of Attack, Defense, and Instinct Coins

Reload Coin - Increases your reload speed (Same as using Stabilizers)

The Attack and Defense Coins can also be purchased with Antique Coins found during your Madhouse playthrough. All coins are stackable meaning, if you buy the Attack Coin and the Ultimate Coin through the PlayStation Store and get another Attack Coin during your Madhouse run, your attack will increase 3x. The only drawback is that they take up precious inventory space.

I know this, my question was if they could be unlocked naturally, like the attack and defence coins....

Wait how much do these cost?

$.49 per coin, and each coin pack includes the Madhouse difficulty unlock, IIRC.

I didn't get a good look at the package bundle, but I believe it's only $2.99? it's only $1.99.

You don't really need these to complete the main game or the DLCs, but they're reasonable priced and probably do help out a bit.
