Who is your favorite video game villian of 2017

I picked Kamoshida from Persona 5.

 

He felt the most personal.

 

Not some distant warlord or corrupt politician, but someone who is trusted to be a role-model and guardian in the community, to minors, and he preys upon them. 

 

From sexual abuse and the proliferation of suicide, he was intimately involved with the consequences of his actions and STILL reveled in it.

 

Also he looks and sounds like a douche lol.

The many many Orcs who got in my way in Shadow of War, specially the ones that betrayed me and ended up broken or dead.

 

Sauron gets honorable mention for his non-stop taunting when you load the game up.

Mine was Gabranth in FFXII, as although he was brutal in his initial actions and what he did to Basch, the ending was tragic I pitied him for what he had to do and face throughout the story.

I went with the "other" option for RE7's Lucas Baker.

I would have gone with Lucas. He was actually a villain whereas Jack was a victim and actually helped you. Same thing with Eveline, her character is so misunderstood. ?
I'm sure some people might disagree with that assessment but I feel like calling them villains, especially despicable, would be like calling Meryl a villain in MGS when Psycho Mantis took control of her.
