how the clue counter works?

ok i just finished the golden butterfly case and according to the walkthrough aswell as the trophy guides i should be sitting at around 101 or 102 clues if i found all of them but my clue counter says i have 118 can anyone tell me whats up with this?

Probably because the game includes the dlc cases in the story, but the PS3 guides don't account for that since this is the PS4 version

im including the dlc clues from the only case ive had so far in my count of how much i should have vs how much i actually do have i cant figure it out unless one of the first cases as a street cop had that many clues they just didnt count for in the guide im not sure tho

I'm currently at that point and have 118 clues also, so if you're worried you have the wrong amount you should be okay as I'm collecting every clue and 5 star-ing every case.
