BlueFireReaper Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 (edited) Pros: Acts like a wonderfully done reboot of the series The new characters were great Kick-ass action scenes Amazing soundtrack like usual Really makes it feel like a long time has past Felt more like a Star Wars movie compared to the prequels Cons: *spoiler related* (though this is just personal) Wasn't much originality, it was for the most part, a remake of Episode IV Had some plot holes. However, there are still two more movies left to give the time to fill them in. Overall, it was a great movie. Easily better than the prequels by a long shot. If I were to rank this one compared to the other films, I'd place this around the area where Episodes IV and VI are placed. And like what OnePieceDude said above, hyped for Episode VIII. I've grown fed up of this generation attempts to make movies that feel both epic and fun and the same time, most of the times fail.I have to say that I'm very glad with the casting of Rey, she just not resembles Leia but at the same time Luke.My prediction is, after being disciple of the new Yoda (Luke), Snokes seduces her, at the end of the trilogy Kilo Ren redeems himself , end of the cycle.BTW, I disliked seeing Han Solo die so soon, I was hoping at least, second movie, with that certainly felt as a fan service, that Episode 4 vibe. Things will always be left unexplained in similar situations.
