Popular Post marvelboy10
This movie was hands down the most awesome, epic, great, captivating, exhilarating, invigorating, amazing, and spectacular movie I've ever watched in the history of Marvel movies. I'm not just saying this because I'm a huge Marvel fan. This movie was just accurate as possible to the comics. I highly recommend anyone, Marvel fan or not, to watch this movie. It's just that good. Extreme spoilers from here on out. You have been warned. Spoiler They made Peter Parker a 15 year old Sophomore in High school. They made him act his age which was perfect because he experiences what it's like to be a super hero and the sacrifices he has to make to ensure the safety of others and his loved ones. Throughout the entirety of the film we see how he goes from a very intelligent student to the web slinger we all know and adore. Tom Holland did a spectacular job at portraying Spider-man. The way he acted and reacted was just spot on. He is officially my 2nd favorite Spider-man, with Tobey Maguire being number 1. Being that Maguire starred in 3 Spider-Man films where as Holland has only starred in 1 film. Micheal Keaton (Vulture/ Batman/ Birdman) was freaking amazing. I mean the guy was the perfect candidate to portray such a diabolical foe that is the vulture. Also another favorite Spider-man villain appeared in the movie as well. I was "shocked" (hint hint) when I saw him appear in the film. Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) was also great as well. He is literally Iron Man incarnated. He is irreplaceable. He is like Christopher Reeves with Superman, Chris Evans with Captain America, Terminator with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Hugh Jackman and Wolverine. The other actors who portrayed Flash, Ned, Happy, Michelle Jones, and liz Allan were also great as well. Especially Flash, he acted like a jerk to Peter which was perfect. I wonder how he'll look when he turns into Venom. I liked how in the film the made Spider-man more humorous. When he was swinging and made a hammock out of webs, tight roped walked on them, and even gave him his signature webs under his arms similar to a flying Squirrel like in the comics. It gave you that sense of "he is young, energetic, and he wants to help people in any way shape or form". I suppose the only thing that could have room for improvement was the final battle sequence. I don't know maybe they could have done a little more with that. But then again they did just survive a plane crash and they did sustain injuries. So I suppose it was the right way to do it. If it's one thing gained from this film is that even when you think you can do so much, you can only accomplish so much. Just let that sink in and think about it.That's what I gathered from the film. The only thing that I can ever relate to with Spider-man is high school. Peter Parker is an intelligent kid in high school and I'm an intelligent kid in high school. He likes to join clubs and do activities. I like to join clubs and do activities. He helps people and I help people. He is seen as a valuable asset to his classmates and so am I. He has Spider powers granting him the abilities to climb walls, increased agility, web swing, spider sense, increased strength, and etc. I have........great knowledge of video games, movies, 2x school Chess champion, video game speed runner, comical, humorous, top Chess player for his high school chess team, co-hosted 8th grade talent show, part of Student Senate in high school, and a great personality. Did I mention that Aunt May is young and attractive in the film. No? well she is. Even Tony Stark agreed. Now let's discuss some the the more epic scenes shall we. The scene with the Washington monument was . I mean it had me biting my fingernails, edge of my seat, and my heart was pounding 2x fast. It was one of those "cut the red or blue wire with the bomb being at 10 seconds left" scenarios. . The scene with the Ferry and the way Spider-man attempted to pull the Ship together with nothing but his own strength was cool until Iron Man arrived and saved the day. It was similar to the Subway scene in Spider-man 2 where Spider-man (Tobey Maguire) tried to stop the train by webbing nearby buildings with a lot of web and holding on for dear life in hopes it stops before it gets derailed. I can tell they were paying homage to him. The scene with the plane was just plain awesome. I mean Spider-man showed us that he is a quick thinker. And think about this. He is only 15 in the film and he did all this in the heat of the moments. So imagine how powerful he will be when he reaches adulthood. And finally le pièce de résistance, the spider-man suit in the end was nice! I mean I think that was the Iron Spider suit since it was fabricated by Tony Stark but then again the suit does have a different appearance than the one from the movie. Like Peter Parker (Tom Holland) said in the trailer "this is my chance to prove myself" and boy did he not disappoint.(applauds) Amazing job Marvel and Tom. ? Spider-Man: Homecoming gets two thumbs up ?? out of 2 for me. Next up, Thor: Ragnarok. Oh and here is my synopsis Taking place after the events of Civil War, Peter Parker is still adapting to his new Spider-man suit and crime fighting life. Peter wants to help people and he wants to prove himself to Tony Stark. One night while on patrol Peter witnesses "the Avengers" robbing a bank. Seeing this as an opportunity to prove himself to Stark, Peter handles the situation and attempts to apprehend the robbers. But during the battle some of the enemies use high tech alien weapons and destroys the entire bank and nearby areas. Distraught by what transpired Peter learns that with great power comes great responsibility. So he sets out to find the person who fabricated those weapons. A man by the name of Adrian Toomes (Vulture) is the one behind all this madness and it's up to Spider-man to stop him. Can Spider-man take down the Vulture without inflicting any more damage to civilians and keeping his identity a secret? Find out in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Playing in theaters near you. RabbiAndy
I liked it. I didn't think it was incredible but well worth the watch and certainly better than the last 2 DCEU films.

TangrakNor
Godzilla vs. Destroyer (1995) The last movie of the "Heisei-Season" and the last one Kenpachiro Satsuma directed. It wasn't the best Godzilla movie, but by far not the weakest. The next days I'm gonna start the "Millennium-Season"
