I've generally been fairly impressed, however I feel that the inclusion of so many literary/philosophical references is a tad on the overkill side of things, and this is coming from an English major. Sure, it wasn't as great as 1st but it showed some interesting concepts. Introducing someone who can not only hide from Sybil like Makishima but actually use it against itself. The other is a lonely soccer genius, Jin Kazama(surprise surprise.. it's Matsuoka). The winds of change begin to blow in the world of high school soccer as these two boys with nothing in common come together. The curtain on this hot-blooded, touching story is rising... well... sure... not the best sports anime out there but quite fun to watch sometimes... plus... who doesn't love underdog story......eh????
