I've got to say, considering the way I've heard this anime discussed before, I expected the sibling relationship to be a lot more..... intense. It was more tame I was led to believe. I guess just the idea of incest is enough to get people to nope on out of there... Clearly not men of culture. Incest is wincest and all that. But really, even with that whole thing aside, I really enjoyed this anime, even if the main character is kind of a pushover and (spoilers ahead) rejected best girl Kuroneko.

SteelFreaxx
The Devil is a Part-Timer! This show gets quite abit of praise but it felt mediocre to me and the ending was rushed. It has it's funny moments though and can be worth a quick watch.

fantrig99
Gakkou Gurashi Episode 1-12 This was an unexpected anime. It balanced comedy and drama quite well imo though when it got serious as it reached closer to the end I got quite shocked and some mixed feelings. I hope the story continues on if there will ever be a next season. Thank you for the emotional journey and there's always hope in the world. Popular Post Undead Wolf
Blend-S (12 Episodes) Score: 8/10 This anime is the perfect mood booster. It's funny, cute, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. To me, this is kind of like a better version of Is the Order a Rabbit? and Working!!. The characters were great and I loved how the girls had a different personality when they were at work. Call me a masochist, but my favourite was Maika (the sadist). Mafuyu (the little sister) was a close second, though. Howl's Moving Castle (Movie) Score: 7/10 Another Studio Ghibli movie. Probably my least favourite one out of all those I've watched, but it was still really good. I just didn't think the story was all that compelling like their other movies were. Turnip Head may not be on the same level as Totoro and No-Face, but he is a gentleman. Paprika (Movie) Score: 8/10 This is the second Satoshi Kon movie I've watched, and from what I understand, the last one he directed before his death. I didn't think it was as good as Perfect Blue, but wow, it was quite the experience. It's definitely something I'm going to have to re-watch to understand the plot fully, but I love the concept. Even just looking at the animation and all surreal scenes makes me really impressed.
Iron_Knuckles64
Erased. I would give it a cheeky 8.5/10 I loved the story and really was invested into the characters. I know there is complaints about the ending but I thought it was alright.
Satoshi Ookami
Finally got around to watching the two big guns. Koe no Katachi and Kimi no Na wa Both were interestingly similar, Koe no Katachi caught me immediately in the first half and the second half was weaker, while Kimi no Na wa started slowly and started picking up pace in the second half. I won't say I didn't expect more from them because I guess I did. In the end, Koe no Katachi was KyoAni to the K while Kimi no Na wa painfully reminded me that it's Shinkai and he will not change. Even though until the actual end, it wasn't really Shinkai-like. It's really hard to compare them because both had Ao-chan in awesome roles And cute Ao-chan is a must. Kimi no Na wa had HanaKana and Koe no Katachi had incredible Saorin All in all, I have to say that Koe no Katachi probably wins for me. That one scene with Saorin really moved me to tears while Kimi no Na wa played more on Zero Escape note But... I guess if I want to be strict, I have to say I really expected more. Koe no Katachi was closer to the ideal I was envisioning but... no, both movies won't attack the peak that Kotonoha no Niwa and Kara no Kyokai are. They are still masterpieces and a must, that's for sure.

The manga has even more details though, if you get the chance to read it. (Of course they had to cut some stuff out to make it fit for the movie.) Bumperklever
I normally don't watch anime too much and never really post here, but I have to admit. Hanebado! is a great representation of real badminton from atleast rookie level. And I love the little things because of that. A good example is: Like if you play badminton semi- competitively then you would likely sit on a bench for the most time in tournaments and competitions. Its not like soccer were you are on the field all the times unless you got replaced. Literally for a whole day you will do like 5 matches or so.. But they actually did a small mention of that which is kinda cute I feel like. (other sports will probably have this issue as well though) And there are a lot of other small things that will catch your eyes if you play the sport. Highly recommend it only for the badminton part and not the drama part heeee episode 3 & 4. But beware you will be spammed with yonex gear a lot to not be seen. I could have done with a less open ending, but meh it was still good overall. (I don't care for open endings in general usually. ) I think it'd be hard for most anime to reach the animation quality of Kotonoha no Niwa. That ending though... Is as if the writers weren't really sure of taking their original idea all the way to the end Also, yes, the main character is an idiot for rejecting Kuronokeo. I still have not gotten over it after all these years T_T Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the ending in my original post, but I definitely found it unsatisfying. They spend all of these episodes leading up to it, and like you said, they didn't go all the way with it. Instead it ends off on some weird middle-ground that leaves neither the "this is so creepy" people or the fans of the series happy. They should have just embraced the incest. I know what you mean; that rejection scene was pretty heartbreaking. You know she's hurting but tries to put on a brave face anyway... ?

So much anticipation they were building during the whole series (even up to the point of throwing Kuroneko aside on the last few episodes ?) and then it settles for a middle-ground ending that doesn't please anyone. Certainly not the fans of the series nor the ones that were expecting "a more unique relationship" are gonna be pleased with how it ends. Agreed that they should have gone all the way with the incest route anyways up to that point It was totally tear-inducing... And seeing her rip the book/diary to pieces made the scene even more heartbreaking. She still ended up launching one big curse towards humanity at the end if I remember right but damn, it was a pretty dramatic moment for the series
