All i want now is a god damn fuckin NA bluray release to complete the set on my shelf but since ANYTHING that is a prime video exclusive almost never sees a physical release, my hope is all but gone... imports just arent the same.

I might as well admit that I don't know anything about golf, other than a few terms. Still, I find this enjoyable to watch. Hopefully it'll stay like that to the end.

 

 

To Become a Real Heroine! The Unpopular Girl and the Secret Task

I haven't seen the music video, but I can at least say this: I actually find this pretty good so far. You can't help but love the hardworking nature Hiyori has. Not to mention, she has *ahem* a cute voice (in Japanese, of course). I do find her eyebrows odd, though.

 

In short, I'll consider this as the hidden gem of this season.

 

 

Komi Can't Communicate Season 2

How much I missed Komi and the gang. Once again, this will be another highlight of this season for me. The first two episodes I watched were already funny enough, so I'll definitely enjoy this one as well.

Here's a movie that I've been anticipating for some time. I bought the Collector's Edition a while ago and I was supposed to watch it last weekend, but because I was busy, I didn't have enough time to watch it. Until now.

 

Before I talk about the movie, I'll admit something right away. I knew that it was based on a novel, but what I didn't know was that there are two live-action movies. I haven't seen them and don't know if I ever will.

 

And the movie? Simply put, it was beautiful. I had my expectations, but I was surprised how different it was from those. I won't spoil anything about the movie, though I'll admit that I ended up spoiling myself a little by watching a certain clip from YouTube and that was before I even watched the movie. Still, when I saw it again, I was overjoyed. The ending was perfect. Need I say more?

 

So yeah, I'd say the wait was worth it. This is easily one of my favorite drama movies, alongside A Silent Voice.

I've been watching "Skeleton Knight In Another World" and "Love After World Domination."  I'm currently on episode 6 for both series.  Both are amazing animes and I highly recommend both of them.  The first is an action comedy and the other is a romcom power ranger parody.

Vampire Hunter D ('85): Quite good, despite being over shadowed by the newer flashier D + Bloodlust from 2000, is pretty good! I do still prefer bloodlust, however VHD is a classic in its own right.

I've read only the first volume of the manga, so I can't compare it with the anime. However, I can say that the anime is pretty good. I see some resemblance to games like Tomb Raider and Uncharted although this one is certainly military-centric.

My Dress-Up Darling 

 

 

A very cute soul-healing romcom/slice of life with a focus on cosplay. If you're having a bad day, just watch these two dorks interact, and you'll get a smile on your face in no time. It's beautifully animated too. Some shots have been stuck in my mind because of how good they looked. The cosplay theme is interesting, and the series shows the hobby well from the creators' perspective. 

 

I have to mention though, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but this show gets too horny sometimes. Treading the fine line between the cute and the horny is a cornerstone of this genre, and I felt like My Dress-Up Darling would be better balanced with less ecchi. I heard the original manga is less horny, but more cute (and it's actually hard to imagine how it could get even more wholesome/adorable), so I might check it out too, and read ahead. The 12 episodes cover slightly less than half of the manga material. I expect that a second season will happen, because the first one did well, judging by the amount of hype surrounding it.

I've just fiinished binge-watching the most underrated anime ever: Kokkoku. This supernatural anime has god-tier writing and presentation from the very first scene. Nonetheless, I'm not a fan of its abrupt conclusion.
