DrHambone
So how is it so shitty that there's no one to platinum it yet?
Popular Post LiviuXD
I spent way more time on this game than I should have and I recommend you stay away. The plat is not impossible, but there are a number of things that make it virtually impossible: - You die in one hit and there are no saves. If you die, you start from the beginning and it's as if you're playing the game for the first time. You get nothing to help your progression the next time through. You can even check your system from the home menu and see that no save file is created for the game. - You have to defeat all 14 enemies in one sitting (because of OHKO and no saving). The problem is it takes incredibly long to kill them. You may have seen videos of people fighting the first or second enemies and being annoyed, but those are nothing. The first enemy takes about 5 minutes to kill. The second ~15mins. The third ~30mins. I managed to beat the first 8 bosses and the 8th one itself took about 6 hours kill. - The combat is dull or non-existent. There are only two viable ways to attack: A slow sword attack followed by a dodge, or short range arrow attacks. Enemies will stand still until you are within range (about 14 meters) so you can hit them with arrows from afar if you are on higher ground and they won't notice you. This isn't completely foolproof because the arrow shooting animation slowly moves you closer to them and every time they get hit, they get knocked away in a random direction, possibly putting them in range to notice you. Once they notice you, they will always do 2 things: walk towards you, and use their single attack when they get close to you/you get close to them. On certain enemies, the sword attack + dodge won't work against them because their attack animation is too fast and will hit you. The fighting is so boring, and together with the fact that the controller constantly vibrates when your stamina is low (which is never shown onscreen), I found myself starting to doze off after 10 minutes of playing. There were times I died because I fell asleep for 2 seconds. It's like trying to stay awake for a boring presentation. - There is no pause, but you can take a break by entering rest mode from holding the PS button -> power -> rest mode. It's the one saving grace that lets you play this game bit by bit instead of having to sit through an enemy for hours straight. - Enemies sometimes get a random hitbox behind their back when they attack and their hitbox may not be in perfect sync with their attacks in general. If you decide to attack by sword+dodge, you need to always attack from the front and be sure the enemy's attack is finished before going in. - If you try jumping around the houses scattered around the map (which don't serve any purpose), you might get stuck and have to restart the game. - You pretty much need a turbo controller. - And probably the worst thing of them all: because of how long you have to keep your system on, how long you have to keep the game open (can't play anything else with your PS4), the amount of button presses from the turbo controller, and possibly the constant rest modes you run the risk of an error occurring which ends up closing the game. I pretty much had my strategy set for this game and I didn't care how long it took to beat it, but the last time it crashed on me (which didn't happen that much in fairness) around 6-8 hours into the battle against the 9th enemy killed my will to play this game any longer. Death by boredom I can handle, but death by a system error I have no control over and losing weeks of my life is just not worth it. After all that, if anyone is still interested in playing the game and wants tips or help, I can share.

starcrunch061
Man - 6 hours, huh? That's ridiculous. The bosses even have stupid names. "Hey - let's spell the zodiac signs...BACKWARDS!!!"
Neef-GT5
Many people already said it, but... how on earth can Sony (or anyone else as a matter of fact) allow such shitty game to be even released on their store?!? Just watched the videos, it’s beyond anything I have ever seen in 25 years of gaming ? 1 hour ago, LiviuXD said: You have to defeat all 14 enemies in one sitting (because of OHKO and no saving). Honestly I have trouble understanding how you could spend so much time on such a shitty game... Interesting inside view though, thanks for sharing ;-) Edited April 4, 2018 by Neef-GT5

Devil-Danna
For me the only thing stopping me to try this game is the lack of any save feature. I don't care about playing a bad game and how shitty it is, sometimes it can be funny. But having to beat the whole game in one sitting, with the possibilty of crashes and death for no reason, no way. Maybe if they add a save in a future update or something I'll give it a try, but that's very unlikely, I guess the devs don't care at all about their own game. I shared the same reasoning as Devil-Danna, but I wasn't aware of how long the battles would be or how much of an impact the lack of saving would have. The only videos or info available covered the first two enemies at most. Would have been cool being the first person to get a plat, too, cause I have no chance getting that for any normal game. I'd go back in if there was a save feature. I feel that may be a bug because the developer's last game had it (it's just one guy making bad games). I was able to spend a lot of the time doing other stuff (watching movies, assembling IKEA furniture, random duties around the house) cause you really need to do is shoot arrows while the enemy is too far to notice you. It took up a lot of my time but also gave me more time for other things!
postofficebuddy
Sorry for the necrobump but just out of morbid curiosity has anyone tried playing this on the PS5? Maybe the game is less prone to crashing and could potentially be done by someone with a ridiculous amount of time to spare.
